I know, no worries!

Did a gyro overhaul today. The ship's crew never did any maintanance on the gyro. But ironically, the gyro was in excellent condition even though it was 9 years old, because it had never been turned off for maintanance so it didn't have any stress on the materials due to cooling down and warming up again.
Interesting how such a delicate instrument goes furthest when it's left untouched for almost a decade...
