Chrono grinned, going down to her height and shaking her hand before looking at Korius. "Then I guess you won't mind a warm-up round before going all-out?"

Chrono watched as she ran off to her barracks, then looked back at Korius. "So, will I have the honor of fighting the captain of squad 1?"

Korius smiled and chuckled, "Maybe." His form disappeared into thin air and reappeared behind Chrono, his hand around Chronos throat. "You'll get the honors after you gain a few more ranks." He released Chrono and walked away. "I'll see you later, I have to assess some more rookies. I suggest you train until the meantime."

Chrono felt a surge of bloodlust as his neck was grabbed, and it only elevated as he saw Korius leave. But before he acted on it, he turned away and walked to hold his rage at bay. I can't lose it, not now... I made a promise to hold my blade until my 'loved ones' are threatened. He swung his blade into the ground to his right, and it caved under the force of the wind carried by the blade, also sending up a column of dust and dirt that settled into the ground. "You got away this time Korius, 'she' perfers I only fight to save others..." he muttered before walking towards the training grounds, not to learn, but to teach others how to reach his level of strength.

Sadly, most get seriously wounded from the first lesson... the remaining shinigami were from squad 11, the ones whom Kenpachi and the captain after him had trained to 'adequate' levels of durablity. I wonder how many will fall today?

Korius had just finished his interviews with the new rookies when a few more came running in. "Captain Korius! Come quick! Chrono's going crazy again! He's already put some of the guys from squad 11 into the ICU!" Korius cursed under his breath and rushed out of the interview hall.

Chrono roars in laughter as his newbie entries are lying on the ground in pain. "Oh come on, I only used ten percent! Urin, show them how to take a hit!" his 9th seat lieutenant walked up and stood before Chrono, who raised his strength to 50% and attempted to send Urin flying with the fist. Urin took the hit, but didn't budge his feet, staying where he was. Chrono grinned and retracted his fist. "Good, that used to knock you out... getting better at taking hits?" Urin nodded before Chrono dismissed him, then started drilling into his left ear with a pinky. "Well, I guess one of you should go get squad 4 to come get these rejects..."

Korius walked into the training grounds, a large frown of disgust on his face. "Chrono! How many times have I told you to not injure our new recruits!? You are hereby suspended for 2 months! For the time being, squad 11 will be temporarily assimilated with squad 2, under Captain Melody's command! Did you ever wonder WHY you were always captain of squad 11? It's because you never learn or improve yourself! Melody's far younger than you and started a year after you did, but she went from Captain of squad 13 up to Captain of squad 2 in less than a year! If  you keep this up, I wiill  personally demote you myself! Dismissed! All the lot of you! Urin, stand fast! You and I are having a little chat." Urin's face turned completely white and nearly fainted.

Chrono stood there, his entire body screaming to fight, but keeping the promise to not shed blood kept him from drawing his blade. "Its not my fault most of my new recruits are whimps to punishment... Urin, and all of my lieutenants, have all earned their spot." Chrono stepped right up to Korius, not caring if he got kicked or not. "Last time I checked, all of the squad captains are equal... or at least were until some stuck-up assumed "squad 1" ment the best of the best..." Chrono stormed off, too angry to bother flash-stepping out of Korius' sight.

Chrono continued to rage until he calmed down at 'her' gravesite, where he got on his knees and almost broke down mentally. "Why did you want your dying wish to be for me to stay how I am, nobody except for my lieutenants understand, and Korius is flaunting his status like a foolish peakcock!!" after a few moments of silence, he heard footsteps behind him, he didn't need to turn to know who they were. "Korius says I'm suspended, go to squad 2..." he didn't hear footsteps moving, and Chrono turned around, they were still standing there, looking down at the ground. "I'm not your captain now, you have no need to look away from me..."

"Si- Chrono, about the recruits, theres something you should know..." "That they faked their pains?" "Y-Yes.... I guess you saw that before I coul-" Chrono grabbed his mouth before he could continue, then let it go so he could breathe. "I made a vow to not spill blood, broken bones are another matter though, however, I have not heard of a good shinigami that hadn't broken at least a rib or arm before becoming at least a lieutenant... gotta' break them in before they can get good at breaking others, right?" he said with a smile, and they lightened up a bit. "I don't know what the other squads think when I do strength training... I never actually killed anyone, the closest I got was breaking almost all of that one guy's ribs in one hit, and he had a pride issue similiar to Korius', so I knocked him down a few bars to show him what a captain's strength is like. Man, I would have torn this thinh' ough' ifh' I dihin't promih huh' toh' stah' cooh' headehd'." He said the last statement holding his tongue, showing the markings and the unnatural pointy-ness of it. He left go and looked around, then back at his lieutenants and his vice-captain Orin. "Well, go to squad 2, and try your best not to get into a fight, or Korius will suspend your dumb arses and send them to me!!" they smiled and headed to the squad 2 dorms.

Chrono sat down at 'her' grave and waited for Korius to have another fit that he didn't leave the premesis, since technically he was suspended as a shinigami and is in their garden/graveyard. "If you can hear me, if he attacks me, don't blame me for retaliating...." he said as he stuck out his sword and planted it in the ground next to him.

Korius sighed after he dismissed Urin. He's getting out of control. He went up to the head knelt before the head. "Sir, I have temporarily relieved Chrono from his command as requested. He is indeed no longer able to control himself. I want to motion for his removal as Captain. He is strong, and a great leader to his lieutenants. However, he does not possess the qualities to lead anymore." Korius hesitated, and continued, "I no longer wish to serve as your spy anymore, sir. I wish to only be the Captain of my squad. I want to be the sole leader of the troops. I no longer wish to do internal covert operations."

Korius got up and turned to leave. As he got to Melody, he stood beside her and spoke, but didn't look down, just straight ahead of him. "Squad 11 will be temporarily assimilated into Squad 2 while Captain Chrono undergoes suspension and pending demotion to lieutenant. Until then,  you will be given additional responsibility of commanding them. Also, you will be relieving me of a certain duty in which I have spent endless times doing since before the war with the Hollows. As you are still new and showing promise, this will be part of your training for command, should the Head Captain and I not be around or cease to exist anymore. Melody, we have high hopes for  you. Prove our judgment right." Without another word, he walked out of the hall and sighed as he leaned onto the gate. Finally, no more spying. I can finally give the men the commander they need. He opened his hand and caught a falling sakura leaf. Valia....

Korius smirked as he closed his hand around the pedal. He returned the glare, his yellow eyes burning as much as they shined. "No, just reminiscing of old times, and enjoying the fact that I now can be the full-time commander the guys need. No more extra duties. I guess you can say I can give them all the attention and training that they need, now. Still, can't believe that it's been so long since I left my prior life behind all because of a stupid little scuff up. You know, I'm supposed to be 22. But I've long since surpassed that age, but here I still am, at the peak of my game, and forever stuck like this, always growing and at my best until the day I disappear, but no one share it with. I'm sure you know how that feels."
