*takes a deep breath*

1. Are you reviewing the topics you are having trouble with daily? If not, it may be time to start. In a crowded study schedule, some things get reviewed more often than others. Re-prioritizing your study schedule may be in order.

2. You may not be able to see her as much, but that doesn't mean you won't be friends. You can still talk to her every day if you want.

3. The only way I know of making money is by working. If you need some extra cash, and if you're saving for a trip, you could try a part-time job now, instead of the full-time job in the summer.

4. Wait until you have to work ALL year. For years. ;) It doesn't suck that much, really! You just have to learn to leave work at work and enjoy the fruits of all that hard labor.

5. Yay! First traveling adventure! I hope it's the first of many for you. Passports are handy, and they're easy to get. I spent about 4 hours on a day off running around getting pictures taken and submitting the forms in person. 2 weeks later, my passport arrived. I think it was about $80 (this is in Canada by the way). Do you need a passport for your trip? And where are you headed? :)

6. Losing a friend is always hard, not going to sugar coat it. I'm sure your friends would like to spend more time with you, but it seems like you have such a full schedule you don't have time to spend with them. If you feel like you're losing touch with people who matter to you, it's time to reconnect.

7. What do you do with your boyfriend? Can your friends come with? Does he play video games? Isn't the point of having a boyfriend to enjoy time together, not have him just take time up between homework and the Internet?

8. Say it with me: Drawing is a skill. Like all skills, it must be learned. If you're serious about learning how to draw, ask for guidance from the artists around here, get a few books, take a class in the summer, learn about art and techniques, etc. etc. etc. You won't be good overnight; you will only be as good as the last time you practiced, then you can improve.

9. If your mom wants a dog, then wouldn't it be her dog? Tell her you don't want another pet and if there is going to be another pet in the house, you won't be the one taking care of it. Try not to get into a fight about it, but be assertive and stand your ground.

10. What if you get hit by a car? What if you fall in the tub? WHAT IF YOUR GYM TEACHER IS REALLY A MIND CONTROLLING ALIEN BENT ON GALACTIC DOMINATION?!?! There are a million what-ifs out there, but you can't let yourself get obsessed with them. Speaking from experience, the what-ifs in life will drive you bonkers if you let them. So what if you don't get to take your trip this summer? So what if you get a B instead of an A? Think of the broader scheme of your life; 5, 10, 50 years from now, are you really going to care? Tackling your problems will be much easier if you're not making mountains out of mole hills

*hands Super happy Horror a dozen chocolate cupcakes* Hang in there kiddo, you'll get through it!

1) Well, try doing an extra study session on the items you are not familiar with. If you are tight on time, highlight the main points and them copy them down onto note cards. That's always a good strategy. If you have the time, take notes while you go over the subject. It'll help with your memory.

2) Friends come and go in life. There's nothing wrong with a simple phone call. You just need to stay in contact with them. If it's a real friendship, it will be fine. Trust me on this one.

3) Do extra chores around the house, or get a working permit when you turn 16. Not really much you can do at 15. Remember, even if your friends are far away, it doesn't affect your friendship. I never lived near any of my friends, growing up.

4) Just think of it as taking another step in your life of growing up. You'll learn to manage your time well. Maybe not right away, but that's what it'll teach you. Don't drag anything long, do things quickly, thoroughly and efficiently.

5) If you're still within the US, a driver's license works fine. If you don't have one, Walgreens does the pictures. You can view the process online. It should take a couple weeks.

6) There are many situations in life that will tell you who your friends really are. As for your other friends, you'll need to talk to them. I've been there, before. Try to  work out a schedule of your time and try to work around and see if you can MAKE time for them. Eventually, they'll reciprocate.

7) And that's an issue? If you want more time to yourself, just tell him. Being your special person, he should be able to understand. Also, like Sarah said, see if your boyfriend does the same things you do or even if your friends can come with sometimes.

8) It takes a long time. I started small. I tried tracing pictures I liked over and over again first. 5 years later, I was able to copy art by sight. It took another 2 years before I could do my original stuff, and another year before I could sell it. I was out of practice while in the military, but now I'm starting from scratch, but now in furs only, from this last December. Now, my commissions are back up, now, so just give it time.

9) Bring it up with your mother. She needs to know your opinion on the situation.

10) Try not to let it get to you. You're still young. Best to just make some time for yourself and just listen to some calming music or just go outside on a sunny day and just relax. Also, when you're with your BF, tell him about it and let him try to help you calm down.

No money for books? Not a problem! We have this amazing service called a public library. Many libraries even have a delivery service or e-books you can download from their site.

I'm a professional worry wart. I really am speaking from experience; worrying too much can be bad for you. Luckily you have outlets like friends, family, and heck even the Furry Forum to vent that worry. You'll be fine so long as you stop worrying so much and have a little fun!

I just want to mention that I do NOT recommend tracing other people's art when learning to draw... It CAN however, be beneficial to trace actual pictures.

Artists frequently distort proportions and stylize things, whether on purpose or not. By tracing and "learning" from that, you're just learning how to copy someone else's style and possibly their anatomical mistakes as well. Draw from real pictures, people, and animals to figure out how anatomy works. Then you can go on to distort those basic anatomical elements to create your own style instead of being stuck with someone else's. And you don't even need books. There are people all around you. Get a piece of paper and a pencil and practice drawing people you know or see around you.

And draw every day. Practice is the only way to get better. It isn't quick or easy, but it works.

Even things that aren't real still have a basis in real anatomy. Like furries for example, by learning both human and animal anatomy, you can just combine your knowledge of them both to create a human/animal. Dragons can be created by studying lizards and snakes combined with bat wings. It just becomes a matter of mixing and matching.

Certainly! Understanding anatomy is important if you want to draw real or fantastic creatures. Luckily the Internet and libraries are full of examples to do anatomy studies from.

Gray's Anatomy is probably the most famous textbook on the subject and is readily available for free online. The illustrations can be found on this page: http://www.bartleby.com/107/indexillus.html

When I saw a Body Worlds exhibition a few years ago, the exhibit space was full of artists doing anatomy studies. Their website has a small selection of images you can work with. Fair warning: these are real bodies of humans and animals. No gore, but quite stunning if you're not prepared to see them. By the way, if you get the chance to see an exhibit, do it! It was literally a life altering experience for me, and I am seriously considering donating my body (live on a piece of art? yes please!): http://www.bodyworlds.com/en/media/picture_database.html
