Anyone else feel like your supposed to be your fursona?

I'm not sure that it was my LAST life, but I do believe in reincarnation, and it may have been any of my previous lifetimes. So, I won't rule out me being a wolf somewhere in the past.

I partially act like my fursona, but mixing it with my RL self, which does help me overcome my shyness, which nobody believes I have!

Congratulations, you can join the line of all the rest of the furries who think they were born in the wrong body and need to roam free with their brothers. You, at the very least, get bonus points for not being another wolf.

I'm going to assume you meant that jokingly, but please be more considerate about making generalizations about furries in a Furry Forum.

I'm gonna' get in trouble for arguing with a mod but; these kind of comments do more to deny the stereotype he's knowingly  mocking than any denial to outsiders. It shows we're not winy, self-righteous so-&-so's, but can take a self-mocking joke like the next person.
Anyway, back on topic. I do occasionally find myself scratching my ears where they aren't, or reaching out to touch my tail but it's not there. However that's me doing what I'd like to be able to do, not what I feel I should be able to do. I know there's no way I can or could be an anthro but I can still live in hope.

In a sense, Is suppose. My fursona - whose name was taken from my chat handle at the time - is basically how I want to be.

Slim, confidant, friendly and physically fit. The only difference is his species, really.

Theres a thread for advice on that, but first just check to see if they even know what a furry is. If not explain, if so and its wrong choose whether or not to correct them or not tell them and let the be ignorant. Read more in the thread for it though.

I for one truelly feel that I was born wrong raised wrong and taught wrong I sometimes receede into the confines of mine own mind where I can almost feel the outer rim of my eldunarï (quote for inheritance cycle fans) i feel as if I were in the wrong body I can sometimes flap mine own wings or reach back and feel my tail but I let out a groan as I realize they are nowhere to be found my one and only true wish is that the whole world switches and we are all Real furries
 I sometimes think about dropping the scales and embracing the fur 
but then witch animal  Idk very difficult

I myself feel like you. Of corse I belive in past lifes and life apon the grave. The universe. Some of  the smartest people in the world know 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 ect... If people don't know anything about the universe, what's to say we wern't all are fursonas? Who's to say we haven't basicly been born in the wrong body? Maby we all were are fursonas in a past life? Maby that's why we're furrys? WHO KNOWS? I for one am hoping to become what I dream about in the next life but who knows? Who knows...

I personally do wish I was my fursona. She is a beautiful image in my eyes and I do wish sometimes I could have been born in her body.

I feel like that alot. It just seems wrong being in this body when paws and large ears and a fluffy tail seem so much more natural. And running through the woods at night and hunting for my food and just being... wild. It all fits me so much better. I used to imagine what it would be like to be a horse and have miles of plains to run on.
