Some bully posted my phone number on dirtyphonebook. DIE!

Its either one of two I know who did this. They posted my phone number on http://www.dirtyphonebook.com and said some nasty secret about me that I didn't want the world to know. And I emailed the site but they won't take my number off. How can I deal with what's going on? I don't want the world to know my secrets. I just want to be me.

What exactally did they say when you contacted them? What did they say about you?

We I don't know about where you live but the perosn that posted that if they lived here could actually go to jail or something close enough for doing that depending on you age and there age so idk about you but when people ness with Me I like to get them back, and if you look at any of my other advice it might seem like I'm being two faced but this is actually a criminal offensive and in all my other ones I just say don't argue back but yea this is what I would do

I'm goth so i don't really care what people think of me. But thats just me. If it has affected you in any way socialy like you losing friends and such i would recommend finding out who it is and do something. Like sain said they could go to jail. Find out who it is and get the police on them. If people are bothering you because of it you must trust that they are mature enough to not let this affect how they see you. I think for them to go to jail, you'd have to actually be harmed in some way. For example, as a direct result of posting this secret online you lose a job, or are evicted from your home, or are assaulted. Has any direct harm aside from embarrassment resulted from this?

It would be good to find out if they are posting on this site from school or work. In that case, school administration or management could get involved.

Actually depending on gradsy age they can actually be arrested there level of punishment differs but there is a newish law passesed about that but Idk if it counts any where besides here and I'm no lawyer so I don't have any law studying practice or anything of that nature to back it up but you can take my advice how ever and blaze just because some ones "Goth" doesn't mean that there fellings can't be hurt

Well, even if by the actions of the law that this problem is solved, I suggest you keep your cell, home phone, etc to your self for now on. It's no different from your E-mail address, or messanger. Only give it out to those you trust with it, not to someone whom you just met, or is a friend of a friend, or someone youe think you know. *Shrugs* It's just common since...
