Shinzuu chuckled, "You know, that's what friends are for. We're out there to look after each other. Nothing's going to keep them from going after me, but the difference is that I can stand up for myself. I'm bigger and a hell of a lot stronger. Do you know how much pressure it takes to pop a brand new basketball? Enough to crush two bones. I may not know how to fully fight, but I have enough strength to scare everyone by breaking another's bones. Anyways, I never had any real friends before you, Schad and Veronica. I just had buddies who used my star player status to get girls and popularity. You three are the only ones who actually accepted me for who I am."

Veronica listened to Marlowe and looked past her at the same time she looked over her shoulder to check if anyone had followed her, which they hadn't. It didn't really surprise her that Marlowe noticed there was something wrong with her. She looked down at the floor for a moment then looked back up at Marlowe. "Oh, that. I heard Yass say that Shinzuu is suspended starting tomorrow, which means no protection for me." She responded to the question. "Now that psycho chick is definitely going to come after me...hope I can take her..." She looked off to the side.

"What psycho chick?" Marlowe seemed confused for a moment, "And why is Shinzuu being suspended, is he that bad of a kid?" The bull terrier began to rethink falling into Schad's friend group as she looked to Veronica. She felt like she should be comforting, but she didn't really know what to do. "I.. I uhm, took martial arts and stuff before I moved." Marlowe scratched the back of her head awkwardly searching for the words to say. "What did you do to make that girl so mad?"

Reno didn't know what to say after Shinzuu's speech. He felt a bit more relieved from it though. However his expression changed only slightly. He walked passed him towards the doors. "I should wash my hands...I'll catch you later, Shinzuu." As he reached the doors he stopped. "And..." He paused. "Never mind." he continued, walking inside. He wanted to say "Thanks" but was nervous about it. It wasn't a word he used all that often. It's not that he was ungrateful but he was just shy, to almost everyone. The only person he ever opened up to was Nero, his best friend. Reno was even shy around his parents at times. He headed to a bathroom, walked to the sink and began to wash the blood off his knuckles.

Shinzuu watched Reno go and sighed as the kid disappeared into the school. He walked over to the side of the building and then behind the school. There was a line of sinks behind the main building, so Shinzuu turned on the water and let the brown water run for a while before it turned clear. Rarely anyone ever used the sinks back there, so they build up a lot of gunk and grime. When the water cleared, he lowered his head and soaked up, holding his ponytail out of the way.

Veronica looked at Marlowe again as she spoke and saw that she was obviously confused. She had every right to be of course since she had no idea about the stuff that occurred. "He's not bad." She quickly said defensively then felt bad since it sounded like she was snapping at Marlowe. "Sorry, didn't mean to sound like that. Um, no, he's getting suspended because he pulled Reno off a guy he was repeatedly punching in the face...then Shinzuu proceeded to break the guy's arm. To teach him a lesson, I guess. Wasn't very smart anyway." She looked down and scuffed her shoe against the floor. "Shinzuu is the reason the girl hates me. She's really easy and she wants to be popular and she thought she was going to be with Shinzuu...and then she saw me with Shinzuu at the train station yesterday evening, sooo yeah..." She looked around the hallway, kind of checking to see if anyone else was around but also just giving her eyes something to do.

"Oh." Marlowe felt somewhat bad for saying what she had, but she honestly didn't know since she didn't really get to talk to Schad before she came. "Well, uh.. Like I said, I took martial arts.." She didn't really know what else to say. "I used to take mixed martial arts, like the stuff they did with UFC while I was back in America. Cage fighting and all that..." She began to look around, trying to keep her eyes off Veronica since it seemed like Veronica was doing the same. She didn't know if it had to do with the culture in Japan or what, but she continued looking away just in case.

Classes lost their luster again after lunch was over, and he excruciatingly waited for each one to end as they seemed to drag on forever. However, the worst thing on Shinzuu's mind was MMA Club. He made sure that this time, at least two other people were in the room before he went inside himself. During club, two things stuck out: 1) Carmen wasn't there, which worried him a little. 2) Tabby was overly cheerful, which worried him more.
Like before, Shinzuu observed different styles fighting each other for a couple minutes, and then seemed to wander into the corner, expecting Tabby to try to get close to him like she normally does.

"You don't have to get yourself involved in my problem. No need for you to have to deal with this crap too." Veronica said, looking at Marlowe again. "But anyways, I'll see you later. I've got to get to class." She raised her hand in a slight wave as she walked off to class. She sat through classes in the same way she had before and took notes as usual. After the school day was over, she went to the library and found a book to read then sat down in a chair in there and began to read. When it came time for cheering practice, she would go early to ask the coach if she was still on the squad. If not, she would go home.

"Oh. Well, I can help if you need, I don't mind." she insisted before Veronica broke off. She waved her hand slightly and wandered back to the office. She wondered if they had anything similar to the fighting she had done in America. After what seemed like forever, the office finally sent someone to escort her to take a look at the clubs. After talking with the other student for a while, she decided to sit in on their wrestling club. The student took her to the 3rd floor and left her. She took a spot in one of the desks that had been pulled aside, watching the students learn techniques.

After classes were over Reno headed over to the swim team. He had a little over an hour to find a new club if he was actually off the swim team. When he got there he found out he was off the team. He wasn't given the chance to explain himself but he didn't care too either. Reno just left casually and went to go search for a new club. He asked a teacher where the archery club was. He mentioned something about "Kyudo" and where it was. He followed the directions and came to a room which he walked in. Inside there was a tan furred fox in front of the class. When Reno walked in he felt the eyes of everyone on him which made him very nervous. "Yes? What do you want, boy?" asked the fox looking over at him. "U-Uhm...T-This is uhm...Th-The Kyudo club?" he stuttered. "Mhmm...Can I help you?" "I-...Uhm..." Reno was cut short from a giggle from the others which he wasn't looking at. However he did look this time only to see everyone was a girl. "Well?" "I wanted to see if...There were any openings. In the club. Here. That is." The fox chuckled at Reno's nervous reactions. "There is one." "Really?" Reno questioned, sounding almost relieved. "Mhmm. Long as you don't mind hanging out with a bunch of girls. Doesn't seem any men wanted to try this year. You'll be the second." "Second? I don't see any other guys around." "Oh. He didn't cut it." she said in sinister tone. "We ate him." chimed in another girl from the class. The rest of the girls giggled at the comment. Reno however gulped nervously. "So do you still want in?" "S-Sure..." The fox walked towards Reno after her spoke. "Alright then. We'll take you for a test drive first thing tomorrow. Alright?" she said turning him around. "T-Test drive?" "Ya know, see how ya shoot. What did ya think I meant?" she said slyly pushing him towards the door. "Don't be late...Or else..." she whispered into his ear before shoving him out the door. Reno stood there not really knowing what to think at that point.

To Shinzuu's surprise, Tabby didn't even look at him once as she normally did. Instead, the only time that she has ever looked at him was to help him with trying to get proper form. It seemed strange, but Shinzuu merely assumed that she finally came to terms that he's just not into her, and that he had nothing to worry about. Little did he know, it was the exact opposite. After classes, before club started, Tabby and her friends had already destroyed Veronica's locker, breaking the door and the lock off, and thrown all of its contents all over the place.

Veronica put her book away and headed for the gym. On her way there, she saw a mess all over the hall and found out that her locker had been broken into so she then knew that everything in the hall was her own. She let out a sigh and went to the office to check to see if Yass was still around which she luckily was. When Veronica told her about it, she went with her to examine the mess. "Well, you're going to have to have a new locker and for now you're going to have to carry your stuff with you. Any idea who did this?" Yass said, looking at the locker then the stuff scattered around the hallway then finally at Veronica. "I know exactly who did it, or at least the main person behind it." Veronica responded with her eyes on the locker. "Care to tell me?" Yass asked. "It won't do any good if I do. They'll just be punished for a bit then start right up again after their punishment is through." "Now don't talk like that. We do our be--" "Well it's true." Veronica blurted out, a little bit of anger in her tone. Yass sighed. "Well...if this keeps up, or you change your mind about telling me who. Please don't hesitate to come talk to me." Veronica just nodded in response and waited for Yass to walk off before she started gathering her stuff, starting with her bag. She shoved her books and binders inside and through in her practice clothes on top of them, closing the bag. After that, she went to the gym and found the cheerleading coach and asked her if she was still on the squad. "Of course you are. I know you've had a lot happen recently. You'll just have to practice harder to be ready for the competition." The coach responded. "Okay. I can do that." She said and started to walk off to the bathroom to change. "And Veronica..." Veronica looked over her shoulder at the coach. "I'm sorry for your loss." Veronica nodded with a slight smile (which was fake, but not recognizably fake) then continued into the bathroom where she changed. When she came out, she switched her hair into a ponytail after setting her bag against the wall then helped the couch drag the mats out for practice.

Marlowe watched the class, with mild interest. It seemed to be similar to the ju jitzu she had done in America. She recognized Shinzuu, but remained seated, scanning the students as if to size them up accordingly. Watching them made her almost want to get out on the mat to see how rusty she was, but she restrained the urge and merely observed, recounting the motions of the techniques some of them were learning.

After Reno eventually got his nerve back he walked on down the hallway. He made his way to the exit of the school and slowly walked to work. He still had extra time but he decided to go early to catch up on something. As he walked he kept his hands in his pockets. He lost himself in thought about various things. "I wonder where that doll is going to show up this time? I wonder if I can't get out of work so I can spread Schad's ashes...That was the plan today I think...Ugh..."
