Shinzuu woke up early Sunday morning. He groaned as he sat up in his bed. Shinzuu had practiced until midnight the night before and he was sore. His mother's voice came from the kitchen. "Shinny, honey! Are you still going out with your friends today?" Shinzuu groaned, "Yea, ma! We're going to meet out in Shibuya and probably going to try to go around the other shopping districts." "Can you help me pick up some teriyaki sauce and some fresh salmon from the market when you come home?" Shinzuu walked out of his room in his boxers and undershirt, and walked into the bathroom to brush his teeth and wash his face. "No, ma. I can't even guarantee that I'll be home before dark or even for dinner. So how much did you win this time, mom?" Shinzuu's mother, a white-tiger with long, black hair, stuck her head into the bathroom and held up a large stack of bills, giving a big smile. "I bet a whole month's paycheck on your game with the others. You really had me going in the final half. Glad you practiced so much. Well, here's your half of the winnings. Now, what do you want for breakfast?" Shinzuu spat into the sink and grabbed the money, laying it beside the sink. "Just some toast for me to take out. I have to be out in Shibuya by 10 o'clock." His mother's face smiled brightly as she retreated and headed back to the little kitchen area. "Ok! Just make sure you don't knock anyone up while you're out there!" Shinzuu coughed hard at the surprising end statement, choking a little on the water in the washcloth. "MOM!!!"
After cleaning up and doing a little bit of grooming, Shinzuu walked back into his room and got dressed. He put on a pair of loose, baggy jeans and a black collared, short-sleeved shirt. Shinzuu ran out of his room and grabbed the toast off the plate his mother just finished putting them on, after lathering peanut butter and condensed milk in them. He hurriedly jumped into his sneakers and ran out as he continued to bite and eat his toast. Shinzuu made it out to the train station just as the train was getting ready to leave. He ran in, barely squeezing through the closing doors. Shinzuu made it to the arcade 15 minutes before 10 o'clock. He stood in front and looked around, waiting for the others. Hope they don't treat me like some freak...
