"He's not all bad..." said Reno nervously twiddling his thumbs in his lap. He was still nervous being around Lorazys, and alone with her. "He can be supportive...I should know...He's a good friend. Though he can be a bit over bearing at times...He means well." he continued. He fell silent at that point, not knowing what else to say. He wanted to ask about her, but he was too nervous. He continued to twiddle his thumbs for the ride.

Shinzuu snapped out of his trance as Veronica came out of the gates and looked up at her. He chuckled at first, blushing, "I just wanted to... be with you, y'know?" Before another word, Shinzuu's heart nearly stopped as Lorazys pulled the Prius up on the curb to a screeching halt. He jumped up and yelled over, "What the hell, you crazy bitch!? Are you TRYING to kill me!? Goddammit!"

Veronica couldn't help but smile at what Shinzuu said. The smile came off her face a quick second later though when Shinzuu was almost run down and she jumped about a foot back herself. By Shinzuu's tone, it didn't just sound like he was angry but like he knew who the person driving the Prius was. She looked over at Shinzuu. "Are you okay?" She asked him, concerned, and then looked over at the Prius. "Who is that?" Her eyes narrowed slightly and she didn't exactly look happy.

Reno again held onto the door handle when Lorazys came to a stop, almost hitting Shinzuu. "She takes sibling rivalry to a whole new level!" he thought, heart racing a little. "Maybe Shinzuu was right? I'm goin' to die......Oh well. It wouldn't be the worst thing to happen. I don't think anyone would miss me for very long. Maybe I should write my will...I want Time of your life to be played at my funeral...Hmm...Would that be unoriginal? Maybe a sad instrumental instead?" He looked at Shinzuu and Veronica out the window and then back to Lorazys, finally just staring straight forward.

Shinzuu sighed as he face-pawed frustratingly, "That's my step-sister, Lorazys Katame. She's 19 years old, but is currently the newly appointed game development manager at Sony Entertainment Incorporated. She just moved back into town today, and she's already adopted a new pet, Reno." Reno's window was opened, "Hey! Get in the car, guys, I ordered some pizza! We're gonna party at my place tonight! Whoo!" Shinzuu grumbled to himself as he got up and patted himself down from dust, "Crazy bitch."

Veronica instinctively didn't want to get into the car with Lorazys. She didn't know why but there was just something about her that she didn't like, other than the fact that she had almost run Shinzuu over. "Oh goodie, pizza." She responded sarcastically about the news of Lorazys having ordered pizza since she didn't care for pizza at all. She also didn't care about partying at her place either since she wasn't that type but part of her wanted to because it might get her mind off of other things she didn't want to think about.

"Pet? I'm not a pet..." Reno thought in his mind, hearing Shinzuu. "I don't like parties either..." he continued. "I hope she means just us...Who else would be there? Maybe Shinzuu's mom...I wonder if she still wants to kill me from when I walked in on her in the shower...? I have a really awkward standin' with Shinzuu's family...I just realized that. Why he puts up with my...Weirdness is beyond me." He remained silent not saying anything still.

Shinzuu opened the door for Veronica before closing it and then tossing both their bags in the trunk before getting in on the other side. Lorazys drove them over to the pizzeria next to the convenience store, and then went inside while leaving the others inside. When she came back, she opened Shinzuu's door and put the hot pile of 6 pizza boxes onto his lap. When they got to the apartment complex, Shinzuu ended up being the one carrying all the pizza and soda while Lorazys took Veronica and Reno up, first. "So, now that the idiot's behind us, tell me. What attracts you to my stupid brother?"

Veronica entered the car when Shinzuu opened the door for her and sat through the ride in silence. As she followed Lorazys up the steps, she glanced back at Shinzuu, feeling sorry for him. When Lorazys spoke, Veronica frowned and looked forward again. "Because he's apparently nothing like you, thank God." She responded in her head, angrily. "He's sweet and caring. He's gentle when he needs to be and tough when it calls for it. He's supportive and helpful and protective of those he cares for. And he's not an idiot, he's actually quite smart." She said calmly, a small smile moving onto her face as she spoke. She didn't look at Lorazys while she was speaking and just kept her eyes looking ahead.

Reno wanted to help Shinzuu carry the food and drink but at the same time, he felt it would anger Lorazys; which was something he would want to avoid. He followed behind Lorazys silently, thinking about the pet comment. "I'm pretty sure he was joking...Right...? I'm not that weak am I? I punched those guys at the arcade with Schad...I beat up Jackson's brother...I was winnin' until Shinzuu pulled me off...Maybe I am weak..."

Lorazys chuckled and wrapped an arm around Veronica's shoulders, "Oh, ho ho. So you guys ARE banging each other. Just make sure you guys get married first. I'd like my first nephew or niece as soon as possible, but only under legal pretenses." Her smile was big and then she turned and whispered into Veronica's ear so that Reno couldn't hear, "If he ever becomes a problem, his bottom right ribs are always tender because they never healed right. Just give him a good jab if he decides to get frisky without protection."

Veronica seriously wanted to pull away from Lorazys when she put her arm around her shoulders then her eyes widened in surprise at what she said. "WHAT?! We are not..." She almost screamed but then lowered her voice for the rest, mainly because she didn't like the word that was used, and actually did pull away. "We are not...banging each other." Her face was bright red under her fur at this point. "And I don't even know if I want kids..." She said softly, mainly talking to herself but Lorazys would be able to hear her and possibly Reno too.

Lorazys laughed as she play punched Veronica's shoulder before raising her keychain and unlocked the door. When they all got into the apartment, Shinzuu almost dropped the pizzas at the sight of the living room, though he only saw the largest TV and the table of laptops from his view, and followed Lorazys right to the kitchen. "I got the meaty pizzas that Baxter made for us when we were kids. Bacon, Ham, Canadian Bacon, Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Polish Sausage, Breakfast Sausage, Sirloin Squares, Chicken Chunks, and all types of cheese stacked together in one." Shinzuu's eyes almost lit up as he opened the first box and grabbed a few pieces without even bothering to ask for a plate. He nearly choked on it, though, when he walked into the living room and seeing the rest of its accommodations. "Oh, by the way. I brought Pepsi, Lemon Ramune, Ginger Ale and Orange Soda. Feel free to grab any of them."

Veronica rubbed her shoulder since Lorazys' play punch still wasn't exactly gentle and glared at the back of her head as Lorazys walked into the apartment ahead of her. The whole living room set-up didn't do anything for her since she wasn't into that stuff and she thought it was a waste to have more than one TV in one room. She went straight to the couch since she had no interest in any of the pizza and sat on one end of it, resting her elbow on the arm of the couch and resting her chin in her hand. Looking extremely bored, she stared at a random spot on the floor.

Reno, being hungry, dug out his pizza and went for Pepsi. He preferred Coke, but he felt they were the same anyway. He wasn't terribly picky with soda as it is. He grabbed a glass, filled it with ice and soda and went to the couch with his box of pizza. Normally he would have ketchup with his pizza but there wasn't any so he had to do without. The pizza was still enjoyable, though all the meat on the rest of the pizzas sounded tantalizing. "Gotta try some of their pizza...It sounds yummy...A regular carnivore classic it sounds like..."
