Reno had woken up fairly early, not really all that tired. He changed clothes, brushed his teeth and headed to go play some games for awhile until it was time to head off to school. In the mean time he was wondering if he should ask Schadenfreude if they wanted to walk together. But he was too nervous to end up doing it. When the time came he grabbed his things and headed for the door. Opening it he saw Schadenfreude outside. "Oh, uhm...'ey, Schad." He looked around nervously. "So..Uhm...Wanna....Walk to school together? It's fine if you don't, I'll go by myself. I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable or anything." Down the hall at the front desk Dorris and Alexia were listening in on them. "Poor Reno, he's not good at talking to ladies..." "Yeah..."

[Shinzuu Katame: Her Tolfy]

Shinzuu yawned as he sat in his homeroom, not really rested, since his dreams were constantly plagued by his memories of his father. He stared out the window most of the time, and was surprised to see someone else who had come before school started. It was Veronica. His face turned red beneath his fur and he just laid his head down, embarrassed at the memory of him sounding like he chose her to be his friend because she was the only girl he could get close to without breaking out into hives.

Veronica sighed as she walked through the front doors of the school. She sang softly to herself as she walked through the halls and got into her locker. She put her bag in her locker and grabbed her books and binders for the first half of her classes. She continued to sing softly to herself as she took her time walking through the halls to her homeroom. She walked into the room and took her usual seat in the back closest to the door.

"Well, I wasn't just standing here to admire the wallpaper," she replied to Reno with a wide toothy grin, "Plus, if I made you go alone, that would mean I'd have to follow you and throw rocks at from behind." She waited for a response, thinking she might make him somewhat nervous because it seemed he never really got her humor, which was okay, because no one ever really did.

Reno chuckled nervously and walked with Schadenfreude to school, not really saying anything. It was really his first time walking with anyone to school, especially a girl. When they got to school he say his goodbye and went off to class. Early like normal he tried to sleep but still couldn't, so instead he listened to some music on his iPod. He had recently taken a liking to a song which he played often. Blood Sugar by Pendulum. He played the song and sat back listening to it until class started. Really the only thing he was looking forward to was lunch, partly because he liked eating and he enjoyed being around Schadenfreude and the others.

The day was really boring. Shinzuu only had one enjoyable time, and that was Gym Class because it was the last day of soccer, meaning the girls' last day of swimming and also means that tomorrow was basketball, and the guys will concentrate more. The boys were especially more distracted, trying to get their last peeks of the girls in their swim uniforms before they're forced to go inside.

Veronica's day went on like any other day. When it came time for gym class, she decided she was going to enjoy it while it lasted since she loved it when they could swim and today was the last day of swimming. As she stood by the pool with some of the other girls, she could feel guys' eyes on them. "Don't you have some soccer to play!" She turned her head and snapped at them. She tucked her hair underneath her swim-cap and climbed up on one of the platform, preparing to dive off into the water with four other swimmers.

Schad didn't like her day. She had to explain where she was several times, and in the end, it left her irritated. She took her irritation out on painting, and managed to get several expressive pieces done before it was time to go back in again. They weren't particularly good in her own eyes, but her teacher liked them save for the subject matter. A lot of them were just random scattered organs and gore. She didn't really want to particularly be in class. After a short while, she was called to the office. Apparently, her mom had found out about her hospital escapade and wasn't very happy about it. She would be picking her up from school today, there were no ifs ands or buts about it.

Reno's day went by, dull as ever. Swim practice at the end was very tiring having to put forth triple the effort. The coach was hounding him the entire time. But he offered, so he couldn't really do anything about it. Besides, he was able to help Schadenfreude out of the hospital. At least he didn't have chess club anymore, which also worked out towards the hard swim practice. When that was all over he started heading for work. As he walked to work the boys from before returned. They were still too far off to see who they were. Reno walked a bit faster, still thinking they were the biker gang that Schadenfreude's boyfriend was apart of. "Oh man...They're followin' me! Stay calm...Be cool...They probably just want to beat me, mug me and drag me through the city chained to their bikes. That's all, nothin' to worry about. Just...Keep...Walkin'...Almost to work...Aaaalmost to-(Censored) it! Running now!" Reno took off running the last of the way to the safety of his workplace.

Shinzuu sighed as he ran through the rest of the day. Track practice was his least favorite since the coach made him run miles until it was time for basketball because of skipping the last two days. He grumbled up until he was allowed to leave. However, it wasn't any easier at basketball practice. It was the exact same thing. For the first time ever, Shinzuu couldn't wait for practice to be over.

Veronica spent her time before cheering practice on the bleachers outside reading a book from the library. About ten minutes before practice started, she headed inside and changed into her practice clothes. As she walked into the gym, she switched her hair from being tied in pigtails to being tied in a ponytail, putting the extra hair-tie on her right wrist. Practice was all about working on their cheering routine for the regional competition.

After her day, she headed outside to wait for her mom. She wasn't too thrilled about it, and honestly wanted to avoid it, but the principal had made it clear that she would be walked outside if she didn't go on her own accord. Though, she wouldn't go with her mom if she smelled alcohol on her, she decided. She sat on the curb, holding her head, lost in thought waiting for her dismal fate. She was sure her mother was furious.

Reno was pretty bored at work, really the only thing he enjoyed was his break. He ordered himself a plate of chicken fingers. He ate in silence in the corner booth where him and the others sat before. He was curious what Schadenfreude was up to, hopefully she got home okay. Once his break was over he worked double time to eventually be let off a bit early. So he got out of his work clothes and headed home. No sight of those boys on the way luckily. He got to his room and decided to knock on Schadenfreude's door, but no answer. He then went into his room and went onto his laptop to play some games until it was time to get ready for bed.

Shinzuu sighed as he dragged his legs out of practice. He hated running more than anything in the world. If it was playing basketball, he was fine, but running sucked in his mind. Shinzuu caught Veronica's eyes and motioned that he would wait for her at the gate. He walked over towards the gate by himself and sat against the end of the wall, where the gate opens at. Something didn't feel right, but he couldn't put his finger on it.

Veronica responded to Shinzuu's motion with a nod and turned her attention back to what she was doing. Her practice concluded and she headed out of the gym. She walked through the halls and went out the front door. Walking towards the gate, she saw Shinzuu sitting by the end of the wall and moved towards him. "Did you want to talk to me or something?" She asked, looking down at him as she stood in front of him.
