Zane glanced up as Shinzuu left, giving a partial wave before starting in on his long-awaited food. He was glad he hadn't ordered much, considering the time, and finished the toast with mechanical efficiency. "Working a story for writing club. As much as I like it, I really hate deadlines..." He managed to mutter in-between bites of egg. It wasn't the best tasting food, but it was warm, and Zane was hungry. He had skipped dinner in his fanatical drive to channel inspiration onto the pages in his notebook. "What about you? Gonna make the most of the day off?" Zane honestly wasn't too bothered that Shinzuu had left, due to the fact that only saw him occasionally at lunch or after school. The same for Sam, but either way, he wouldn't turn down the free food or the company, even if it was short. As soon as breakfast was over, Zane knew he needed to head over to the library and use the internet to communicate with his editor. His internet at home was always slow due to his mother and father using it, so anything faster was a godsend.
