Gulf of Mexico? Hundreds upon thousands of gallons of oil already lost and still going? The biggest oil disaster ever?
I'm assuming everyone has seen this. And if not... This is really happening and the crap is hitting the fan in a big way.
My dad is involved in hazardous waste removal, and he is the best at what he does, and on Monday he's going down to Louisiana to take a look at all this. What he's going to be doing is clearing off the crude oil once it rolls on shore. The military is going to be trying to shut this thing down. Trust me when I say this... This is a very ugly situation. The estimate is 200,000 gallons of oil is rushing out. The accuracy of that is ?? - it could be more! And it might take the military a couple months to contain this and shut down the well. After words the clean up is going to take months. So my dad might be down there for quite a while scooping up oil.
