Well, it's now May, apparently, that's what my computer says at least.
It's hard to believe another year of school/college/university is coming to an end and for myself at least the end of my degree, should the remaining exams go well later this month I'll have my degree.
One bit of unfortunate news is that Tezztor has decided to leave the forums due to personal reasons, he reserves his right to keep this reasons to himself and so please do not pester him for reasons. His moderator status will be removed on Monday to allow him time to finish off any things he has to do around the forums, we all wish him the best and hope he will be back to visit and myself and the rest of the staff express our thanks and gratitude to him for the work he has undertaken here on the forums. At this time no further staff will be taken on whilst we work on a few large changes that should hopefully occur over the coming months.
As many of you will have likely noticed I have had a countdown running in my signature for the past couple of months, those of you with impressive maths skills will have worked out the countdown ends on the 1st June at 20:30 GMT.
This countdown is for my trip over to the United States for three weeks, whilst my main intention is to meet my partner and spend some time together I will also be taking the opportunity to meet up with a number of friends included WingedZephyr. Please note we refuse to promise evil planning. I'll primarily be around the state of Illinois but will be taking a road trip down to Georgia part way through the time over there, anyone around these areas who may want to meet up then the opportunity may be there, it is hugely dependant on my free time.
I plan to make this trip a bit more interesting for everyone here as well with the use of technology to bring you in on exactly what I am doing. I will be making use of Twitter and Google Latitude to track where I am, these will likely start on the 31st May when I take the train to Manchester before the flight on the 1st June. More details will be released over the next few weeks but expect photos, maps and more!
Please rest assured few problems should occur with my being away, I'll have Internet access and will have provisions put into place to ensure that any problems can be easily rectified.
