You would be surprised what modern technology is coming to, it will be possible but it's more like 50+ years before it becomes realy useful, I wouldn't have bothered with this post if I didn't know enough, it will be possible, however it will be a long time before there are any useful things made from it.

I'm going way way far out here, but what about prosthetic anthro bodies? A little ghost in the shell logic here, but in time you could be able to move your mind into a prosthetic body. At the point of that development they'll definitely have some anthro bodies on the market. Still though 50-60 years into the future

We fight, we recruit, we are the anthropomorphic army. FDF forever!

Seriously though, I think you're looking at way more than 50-60 years.  It's possible that there are reputable people out there saying otherwise, however, the general trend is that most futurists predict brain-download technology to become available at about the time they'll turn ~70 -- so, basically ten years before they'll really, really need it to show up if they don't want to miss out.

Even if the technology does get created in our life time, we probably won't be around long enough to enjoy it.

Do we really want to do that? I mean, we already live pretty freaking long. Plus, we're doing a little too well in population. I doubt it would be good to live very much longer. Honestly, I'd probably be sick of everything after 100 years.

I don't think it's very good of an idea to change into a being you're not. I think we should stay as the creatures we are now, because that's simply what we were born to be. Why change?

Life is change, What else is there to do!

Ive seen the technoledgy that is worked towards and expected, you might be sick of things that are around today, but many new things will be around by then and even if the world doesn't get anymore interesting then you would still take a very long time to see all of it anyway, there is always somthing else you can do, that is assuming you have the drive to, i understand there are people who aren't eager explorers and simply live in one place for their exsistence, but i still feel there is so much Left to do.

My solutions to absolute boredom are memory erasing, i personally wouldn't want to forget anything but do acknoledge that sometimes it migh be better to re-expirirence things.

Im sorry if im too posotive and hopeful, I am just extremely afraid of death and all, why face uncertainty when u can just live on knowing the next step?

I'd want my memory completely erased and to start life over as anthro, not just transition int being anthro as an adult.
