double dreams
« on: June 15, 2010, 04:08:34 AM »
so I had a dream that I won a 500$ giftcard to gamestop for participating in the survey thing on my reciept right? I was really excited that I won that I woke up. Feeling sad that I didnt win, I checked my e-mail and saw that I actually DID win it. then I woke up again for real. Life sucks sometimes.  :(

edit: i think i might have put this on the wrong board...

That's happened to me before. I've had it a couple times, but I can only remember one at the moment.
In the dream I was hiding in my room from my (now ex)boyfriend, I guess because he was being creepy? I don't remember really. XD
Anyway, I locked the door and pushed on the door, struggling to keep him from coming in, then the lock broke, the door swung open and I screamed.
Suddenly I "woke up", and my dad was there. He said "What's wrong? You should go back to sleep, it's very late". A creepy figure appeared behind him. Then I woke up for real.

I sometimes have dreams like that but they either see me asking or doing something and then I do it actually the same IRL or I re-enter the dream after going back to sleep to do it all again.
With 955 characters for a signature, I can try make something funny or interesting but no, I'm just gonna sit here and type instead of going to work because breaking the fourth wall is more humour than trying to figure out how I'll get access to my other laptop; picking up my charger that I left at a friends house, around 40 miles away...

Good going Sparky, you did well. On the plus side, it's given you a chance to accidentally revisit some old stomping grounds and see what madness you can create during this seemingly temporarily return.

Tch, that's nothing. Try having to get up at 6 AM after having a dream in which you experienced the whole day that you haven't experienced yet, fell asleep and dreamed that you had a dream where you lived a day in the not so distant future where part way through you black out in order to have a dream of you simply sleeping and having a dreamless sleep. Now that's when stuff gets twisted and it's a pain to go about your normal day >.<
The farewell was premature. My definite stay is not definite. The constants are variable. The greeting was too late.

Yeah, I probably could have written that better but I'm sure you get the gist. Dreams like that just go so far beyond what you expect and it can be a hassle to get your head around them. Especially as they feel long enough to equate to several days >.<

Dreams are so confusing, sometimes I have dreams where I go through a day, then I wake up thinking it's the next day.
Exp: I go to sleep Thursday night, dream about living through a day, and wake up thinking that it's Saturday.

Yeah, I used to get those sorts of dreams a lot. They can be quite a pain, huh?

Yeah, I hate waking up thinking I can go back to sleep then end up having to get up a bit later.
