"Mmm. Vell, I suppose zhat ve just wait here until zhat lion fellow returns." With that, the chameleon plopped against the wall of the building in the alley and slid down, jumping as he sat on something that felt like it was made of cloth. A bit confused, he reached down and retrieved what it was from under him, his eyes growing wider as he realized what it was.. That can't be Mortis.. I don't get it.. Why is this happening if I'm Romei? Was there a mix up? she thought as she turned the cloth over to inspect it. It looked like an empty stuffed animal with bright colors and stripes. It was a chameleon... Therefore it had to be Mortis. From the jumble of cloth, there were two yellow button eyes and a zipper on the chest. The familiarity of knowing the character was haunting. Does it have a consciousness...? Is it dead? she continued to think her heart racing. She would hate to see one of her characters dead.
"Reno.. Look at this." Romei said, not really looking up from inspecting the skin of the doll, "I svear, it looks just like Mortis, I don't get it." He carefully unzipped the zipper to look to see if the design was like the ones she drew with an dull, colorless inside, but without warning, the zipper leaped forward expanding like a hungry mouth and latching onto the chameleon's face. He let out a shriek that was quickly smothered by the zipper that was expanding further over her face, the sleeves from the doll lashing out, growing to unnatural proportions and wrapping around the chameleon's body. Before even a minute passed, the sound of the zipper cut through the air sealing the chameleon inside, screams muffled by the cloth in the way, the figure squirming in the alleyway. The cloth itself seemed to shrink, the figure inside screaming like mad until at last, there was a doll on the ground, only about 20" tall, falling silent. The doll was inanimate as a pin appeared in the air, proportional to the doll itself, and stuck through the heart of it.

The vixen was a little confused when the dragon said the name was "Gabag" but she smiled nonetheless, "Well, it's nice to finally know your name, Gabag. I'm sure you two can get acquainted more when you work or after you work, but it's late this afternoon, and I suppose it's time to start cleaning up. Plus, I know Armel is going to want his bread still warm." She scurried off the the oven and opened it, getting a long pole with a flat edge at the end and scooped up the flat pan type thing the bread rested on, setting the bread on the table. It seemed like time had been lost for a moment as the bread seemed to be done and just the right temperature for wrapping up in some cloth. She brought it over to the dragon, and put her hand out waiting for the two gold. "I'm sure Armel will want his meat, too. It's just two vendors over," she stated, pointing to the left. "You'll want to talk to Jacob. He's Armel's brother, he'll give you Armel's usual for 3 gold if you say Armel sent you... Though.. Don't ask about how they are related.. Some say he's just adopted," the vixen's voice got smaller as she spoke, "It's a touchy subject."
