Tabby cocked an eyebrow at him. "Ofcourse they do you silly flippin' scaley." She shook her head in disbelief and headed to a table. "We're not otters, you know." She smiled at him, then her eyes lit up as she spotted her favourite waitress. "Piyo! Hey girl, gimme some food!" The waitress was a burmese draped in purple, with a pen and pad ready to serve customers. When she spotted Tabby a smile burst on her face.
"Tabs! Hey, what's up? And who's your friend," she said, pointing to Chronin with her pen. Tabby stared at him as well, proud of her self for catching him.
"Ain't he the best?"
The automatic safety measures on the sphere kicked in almost immediately, setting up a kinetic barrier at the hole, as a temporary measure while the filler poured in to plug the gap. In an engineering room deep into the sphere, warning lights flahshed, and camers flicked open on the sphere's surface, showing Nero clear against the dark of space.
"Who the hell is that?" said a blue tailed skink, as he set in the commands to release attack drones.
As Annie agreed with him, David relaxed, leaning against the wall.
"Thanks, but I can't let you back onto the ship. We're already prepped to jump and frankly, I don't know you, so i don't trust you with your own ship. You can just give me the coordinates and we can jump there by tomorrow morning."
