Tabby looked around at the restaurant, counting a total of four big cats.
"I don't know. I guess it's just the atmosphere. Anyone who isn't one of us is an outsider." She winked at him, and looked from his eyes to his strong, broad chest. She bit her lip and stared back into his eyes again. "I've always liked the exotic."

Once the ship got to a steady velocity, David stumbled out of his seat and headed over to the medbay, leaning against the walls as he walked. He shook his head as he swayed into medbay.
"Darn it these jumps always mess me up. How's he holding up?" he nodded over to Blaze.

Seema smirked at him.
"Oh don't worry about that. A spec ops man will be arriving in a day or two. You'll be able to put everything into practice then, with a full test of all your systems. Right now though, you have time to get it all in your head, and relax a bit." She put her paw against his hair, and stroked a little before smiling at him. "Relax after you get your legs back ofcourse." They turned a corner, and the doctors welcomed them back. Kitt's platform lay back, and a needle poked into his neck, sending him back to sleep.

When he awoke, the sun was going down, and there were only two people left around him, wearing labcoats. They sat around with cups of tea, watching monitors of his vital signs and cybernetic implants.
"Parents always think kids are wasting their youth, and always have done [so] down through the millennia," says Tom Forsyth of RAD Game Tools. "'That Ug, always holding things. His front paws will develop in funny ways. Why can't he walk on all fours like normal proto-hominids?' And so, whatever the kids spend the most time doing, that's always what parents think is a waste of time, and what is corrupting their lives. It doesn't matter what that is. If all they did was homework, parents would be worrying that their kids aren't becoming well-rounded people. And, in fact, parents do this - enrolling math nerds in karate classes and the like. There is no way to win - parental paranoia ensures that kids are always doing the wrong thing."

Chronin raised a brow when she said 'exotic'. "Just know I don't take too well to being a 'trophy mate'." he said rather bluntly since he rarely did anything for the sake of looking good. "Besides, not common to see a bounty hunter that not only likes to look pretty, but happens to be working with the 'good' side, even if its because you were only looking for extra help..."

Nero was about to dive into the hole when the barrier went up.  Cursing, he looked up in time to see the attack drones.

Sphere security had seen him.

The rags on his back flew off to intercept the drones.  They wouldn't hold them off for long so he had to act fast.  Nero jabbed his arm into the barrier, causing it to spark and pulse.  His arm began to shred apart as the barrier destabilized his body and tore it apart at a molecular level.  He startied to feed more energy into the barrier and soon the feedback was too much, shorting out the barrier.  Nero jumped into the hole, now somewhat depressurized and turned back to the hole.  With a wave of his hand the metal stretched and twsted sealing the hole back up.  Nero smiled at his handiwork and turned to leave...only to drop unconcious on the ground.

Annie looked up, shrugging with one hand still lightly stroking Blaze´s forehead "Doing okay... Doesnt seem to be getting worse...."
Blaze gave a slight groan, but no more, still curled up under the covers. Annie sighed, looking down at him with pain in her eyes...

Tabby laughed, throwing her head back. "The good side? No, bounty hunters don't have sides. I go with what looks fine or profitable at the time." Her laughter subsided and and she stared off into memory. "Yeah, I've been doing some 'bad side' stuff since I was a kid, simply because I wanted to. I'm sure you've done, or at least wanted to do similar." Piyo returned with the food piled up. She winked at Tabby as she laid it all down on the table.
"Dig in," she said, and left with a giggle. Tabby smirked then looked back to Chronin.
"So, since you don't want to be my trophy, maybe i should learn a bit about you." She tore off a bit of chicken and chewed. "So get talking."

Security and engineering crews at already appeared at the Sphere's newly sealed hole, and circled around the unconscious hyena. An official with a large red stripe down the left side of his jacket yelled into a megaphone.
"Do not go near him, this is a primary order, nobody is to go near that person. Through the crowd, a group of heavily armoured engineers ran in with a ceramic dome with a box attached on the outside. They dropped it on top of him and taped the box setting it into life, flaring hyper-heated plasma through holes in the ceramic. The plasma formed to the shape of the dome, created a barrier that would vaporise anything that touched it. The official turned on a communicator.
"Ma'am, we've got the being. He pretty much punched his way through the barrier," he said.
"Alright, ask him some questions, see if he's able to talk," Kateri Peralta replied on the other side.

David nodded, then stumbled over to Jaack's bed. "Okay, well lets see how you're doing then, eh?" He examined his eyes, checked his pulse and his breathing. Everything was working too hard and too fast. His chest was heaving and his breathing ragged. "Aw hell." The snake searched through his cupboards, and found more of the drug, adminestering it as quick as he could. With shaking hands and unsure footing, it took a few tries to get the vein. "I flipping hate these jumps. How you people handle it I've no idea." He used the bed to hold himself up, and turned around to lean back against it, facing Blaze. "You sure you're okay, kid?"

With a piece of fried chicken in his mouth, Chronin thought about it before slippling the entire thing in his maw before crushing the bone and marrow in his jaws. "Well, I've had at least ten years of combat experience, three consecutive years of frontline combat since a small-scale war occoured within the vicinity of the Captial Sphere. Top that off with my complete lack of genetic enhancements or alterations; but I'd rather not go into detail around the more squeamish folks, unless you want to see the siamese behind me run to the bathroom while I explain what I saw during my second year on the 'war-front'."

"Ten years?" Tabby raised her eyebrows, exaggerating her being impressed. "Not bad at all. You know I remember that war. Plenty of work for a hunter in that situation." She looked at him with a nostalgiac glow. "I made a ton of money." The siamese behind Chronin, who had taken notice of them talking about her huffed at Tabby's sentiment. Tabby just breathed a laugh in reply. "You know I don't think any gruesome war stories will be appreciated out in public. But I'm guessing you're well versed in combat." she smiled, before eating more of her food. "So anyway," she said, pointing a chicken bone at him. "What's all this Aunt business. You're related to the head of security here?"

Chronin held the steak in his talons as his serrated teeth simply tore off meat without sending giblets about. "We're not related by blood at all, I just call her Aunt because she was the only one beyond Gran that was keeping me out of trouble when the riots occoured. She was also the only other person who knew of my father's work before the incident since she frequently visited to make sure he didn't do any unschedualed 'field tests'. Don't even remember having a mother since I can only remember as far back as the time I spent helping my father with his work. So I guess she should be called my step-mother, but that would have been too awkward to explain to the brass..."

Blaze gave a thumbs up, the pain still only localized to his chest and stomach. He then went back to the screen on his wrist, making Annie sigh and shake her head "On deaths bed and your playing Tetris?" Blaze shrugged and grimaced at the same time.

Annie rolled her eyes at him, flipping the screen down despite his protests... She pushed him down into his pillow, running a hand over his forehead "C´mon... sleep kiddo... I´l wake you up when we reach the carrier..." Blaze closed his eyes, grumbling. Annie looked up at David and gave a half-smile "I´l probably get some sleep too if thats alright..."

Kitt sat up and rubbed his head. Then noticing the two lab personel Kitt turned to them.
"Good morning, or should I say evening?" Kitt chuckled a little "Can I get somthing to eat? I'm starving."

Tabby chewed on the rabbit mixed with cheese while she talked.
"My mum was great, but she always freaked out about me. She thinks i fell in with the wrong crowd, and looking at me now? I can't say she's wrong. But then, the wrong crowd brought me to you, didn't it." She winked, and Chronin could feel her foot sliding up his leg.

David nodded. "Oh yeah sure, and if you need anything, there's a comm unit in that cupboard by the door." He pushed himself upright and stumbled out of the room.

About a half hour later, someone crept through the corridor, sneaking through and poking his head past the medbay window. It was Reggie.

One of the personnel, a young jackal looked to the other, a raven and shrugged.
"Yeah why not? There's a canteen back down the hall," he said, pointing back with his thumb.

Nero woke up shortly, now surrounded.  He already knew what was going on, as it was his body not his being that had passed out.  Sitting up, Nero sighed and looked at the official.  "Well?  Go ahead...I'm not going anywhere."

Chronin pivoted his leg and lightly swatted away her foot, not breaking his gaze in the slightest. "I hadn't dealt with female Elites due to the ironic trend of them all perferring same-gender relations, but I'm pretty sure you're jumping the gun when I still havn't paid for the meal..." He said in a level tone while the grin was still on his face.

The official straightened himself and looked down at Nero.
"Let's start with the basics. What's your name, your species, and your origin?"

"Oh I don't think I'm jumping the gun at all," Tabby said with an exaggerated pout, with smirk  crawling underneath, threatening to burst into a devilish grin as she ate the last bit of meat on her plate. "I think we both know where this is going." She took his hand and gulped down the rest of her water. "So," she said with a wink. "Can we go meet the parents?"
