Tabby moved to sit up, cross legged on his bed, rubbing her arms and legs, and fixing her hair.
"Don't worry, it's not the first time its happened to me. It's the perils of the guys I like. Dangerous men with a past full of violence. I used to find it exciting," She sighed and reached to take Chronin's hand. "Nowadays I find it comforting... and also exciting." She smirked, and looked up into his guilty eyes. "How you feeling? Sometimes this kind of thing ruins a night."

As Leo conceded the point, she flashed a triumphant smile. "Thankyou," she panted. "Anyway, he might still be an energy of some sort that requires replenishment, but yeah this is all wild hypothesising, but then it's all we've got." She handed over the datapad, covered in windows monitoring the different wavelengths.

The singed scientist yelped and patted himself down, jogging away from Nero. The official grew a crease in his brow.
"Wanders off? I'm sure it does. So, now that you've had your food, these nice people want to ask you a few questions." His voice was cold, tinged with a growl. The female ferret who had been talking to Leo stepped forward.
"How are you keeping yourself contained like that?"

"Howdy sheriff," said a young female voice. It belonged to a desert hare, covered in a dark Abaya that settled around her letting the sand tumble off. Her ears stretched high above them both, listening to his every movement. "Well you're not really a law enforcer are you, since you never arrest anyone. I wonder how nobody has found any bodies or evidence. You don't eat them do you?" She let out a little laugh. "But then you are a carnivore."

The kiss lasted, and the hum of the jump drive disappeared from Reggie's mind, as he slipped his arms around Annie's waist, keeping her to him. When finally they parted, he smiled softly, with almost a nervous innocence about him.
"Nowadays, I'm caring about more than just him." A childish grin burst on his face, and he pulled her into a hug, resting his head over hers. "When we get to the carrier, and everyone's all better. Do you want to go on a date with me?" Despite everything, there was still a hint of hesitation, and he tensed as he said the word 'date'.

Annie pressed her head close to Reggie's chest, held in his embrace. She could hear his heart beating out the same staccato rhythm to match her own as she let him hold her. She smiled, letting out a deep breath, only to have it catch in her throat. She pulled away slightly, looking up into his eyes "A... Date?" Her tail swished, a nervous excitement coursing through her.

She stroked her hand down his chest, still looking up at him with an anxious grin "Sure, why not?... Yes, I will go on a date with you..." She gave a nervous laugh, and kissed him lightly on the cheek. Despite her best attempts at nonchalance, her bushy tail was flicking animatedly as she turned back to the medbay.

Looking back at the Ferret after noticeing she was still panting "Still excided are we? I have to admit you have me stumped." he asked with a smile before saying "Thankyou, wow... he has enough radiation to reinact hiroshima many times over." when he received the pad examining the windows, flicking his ear as he heard them being mentioned by the official, not careing right now. Instead he seemed to be looking for something specific as he rearranged the windows mummering to himself "Boreing...boreing....nope....here it is". Putting his finger on the pad to bring the window to the front as he looked examined it carefully before walking forward next to the ferret not even peeling his eyes away from the screen.
He finaly managed to look waiting for the ferrets question to be answered first before asking. "Now then... exactly how massive are you"

"Great," Reggie said, and gave her one last hug before they parted and he headed for his room. "I'll see you in the morning. We'd have reached your carrier by then."

Annie nodded, smiling as he hugged her "Sure... They'l get Jaack fixed up, at the carrier... We got some top notch medics there." She waved to him, walking back into the med-bay and slidding carefully onto Blaze's bed. He snored, snuggling closer to the warmth of his mother. She smiled, hugging him close beside her, yawning as her eyes closed.

First his eyes regained their former happy 'glow', then a smile formed on his face before he said anything. "Lets see that dance you sort-of promised me, then we'll see from there." he rather calmy stated while his tail couldn't hide the excitement as it twitched from side to side.

Vuranin had little to say to Howl and Seeker when they returned from their apparently failed negotiation. "Not only am I not surprised, but I'm not even disappointed in how you could so casually return since you two are our only 'diplomats'. My turn~" her voice trailed off in a rather childish tone as she got out of the chair in her apartment/hideout and walked tall as she was now the only one who stood between relative peace and all-out war. In her eyes the streets had passed in miliseconds the moment she stepped out of the door, compressing the space between her current location and the homing signal on her husband's ring. Fortunatly for the one who was currently holding it, she walked face-first into a closed door going at about the speed of light. Normally her form would've become smoke and she'd reform in half a second, but a solid yet near-indestructible body was knocked out cold and fell to the side of the same house Chronin was still in...

Reggie watched her walk away, seeing her tail wag, making his wag just as fast. He couldn't resist his smile, and practically skipped back to his room, where he pulled of his space suit and dropped his big body down against his tiny bed. He didn't have a great mattress and immediately regretted the drop, feeling a pain in his back.

Eventually, the ship dropped from its jump, and David looked out the front viewscreen. They had arrived. The carrier stretched acroos space with its vast body, filled with hangar bays that lined the sides, getting larger and larger, until one final claw held in place a warship bristling with guns larger than most of the ships on board. The carrier  gleamed in the sunlight, glinting in gunmetal grey, with hints of multicoloured vehicles hidden inside, blaring with styles, lights and patterns. It was as though the very ships themselves were alive, like a perpetual firework display, held within an enormous casing.
"Wake up people!" David yelled down the comms to the rest of the ship. "I think we've arrived."

Tabby smirked, which rolled into a giggle as she crawled off the bed, still holding his hand.
"You got it, boy. I'll dance for you." She winked and swayed her hips. Her tail whipped behind her, and she turned and writhed to show off the curves of her body. She pulled Chronin's hand, and with effortless grace, slid it under her tank top, letting him feel her furry feline midriff.

Kateri silently eased into her driveway and got out the car as it automatically switched off. She turned towards the house, and saw a dragoness lying unconscious at her door.
"Um, JasON... who's that?" JasON's face appeared as a holographic feature in the wall.
"Unconfirmed."
"What do you mean, unconfirmed. You know all the identities on the Sphere." Kateri walked to the body and kneeled beside her. "How can you not know this one?"
"I don't know. There are just no current records of this individual." There was a pause as his face went blank; returning a second later. "However, historical records show her to be Vuranin Epheral... oh." The AI paused. Kateri tilted her head.
"Oh?"
"According to this, she disappeared twenty five years ago, leaving her husband and ten year old son."
"So?" Kateri put her hands on her hips , staring at the face with growing impatience.
"The son was called Chronin Epheral." There was silence, with barely even the atmosphere making a movement, until Kateri slapped her forehead.
"Oh for crying out loud. Why did this have to happen now?" She shook her head in disbelief, and sighed before stepping over the dragon to open the front door. She glanced back at the AI. "I don't suppose there's a chance you can become corporeal and help me out is there?"
"No madam," JasON replied.
"Didn't think so." She knelt down and put her arms under the unconcious guest, trying to drag her inside.
"Miss Peralta, your nephew is home, I think he could help you." Kateri's eyes lit up.
"Chronin's here. Alright, where is he?"
"In his room."

Chronin was trying to not look away as his heart started to beat faster, but his hand got a mind of its own as it wrapped around her pulled Tabby right up to his chest, and thats when there his hair again curled inwardly and he was too preoccupied with emotional overload to go any farther.

Vuranin was quickly reganing consiousness as the force on her brain was equal to a good right hook, and was only long enough to change the chances of a fight, not pass for a comatose. She already wrenched herself away from the human, but then recognized her as the Kateri her husband described, except for the difference in age. She had her by the collar of her top and actually lifted her off the ground and pinned her to the wall before Kateri could even pull out any weapon. "Where is Chrono, where is my husband?!?" she almost roared as the concern of her family came before Everflame.

Nero looked at the ferret and scratched at his decaying arm.  "The same way you creature's keep your life force from escaping...I just know how to turn it off and on.  However, something like me requires a little extra to keep inside a body, hence the food."  Nero's answer raised more questions than it answered, and it didn't look like he wanted to answer many more.  Turning to Leo he sighed a bit.  "Lets just say that if you were my size you could look at the Sphere and not even notice it as you walked by.  You could fit it on a flea as a funny little hat."

Rasu tensed up, this person knew the truth. He had only been impersonating a sherriff, after all the sherrif died a long time ago and he took up the mantle. No one had ever argued or questioned it, no one.... until now. He tried to smile, but was having a hard time finding a way around this.

"So, you know the truth then? Well are you going to kill me? After all i'm the only one trying to keep the peace." Rasu tried to calm himself focusing his mind and igniting his inner fire. If things got bad he might be able to have cooked hare for supper. If things went right he might have a new 'Deputy'.

claspe his hands together triumphly then pointing at him with his hands together keeping a graceful hold on the data pad "That explains a lot" he chimed before holding the datapad up to the female ferret pointing to the few screens that caught his intrest greately, the first one was mass, the other was surface area witch both showed no results only the phrase "Error; Out of Memmory". Giveing her a few seconds to read it he then said to her "Well, the gravity query is now explained, he's large enough to be a planet... or a collosuss in space..."

A loud thump in the med-bay answered David's wake up call. Preceded by several muttered choice words, as Annie picked herself up off the steel floor. She rubbed the sleep from her eye as she ruffled Balze's hair, walking out into the corridor beyond. After several minutes of wandering the corridors, she finally found the cockpit, along with David. She muttered a "G'morning" amid a wide yawn, before looking at the carrier stretching out before them.

The area of space around the gargantuan steel construct was abuzz with ships of all shapes and sizes. Some bore the dark red paint schemes of Mechanicus, others still only their gunmetal undercoats, and others exotic colours. All where flowing in and out of the Carrier hangars, a constant stream of activity like a hive and its accompanying bees.

Suddenly a harsh beeping filled the cockpit, as an incoming message flashed across a screen. An avian appeared on the screen, a sharp-beaked hawk who frowned "Yantova! What are you doing aboard a non-regulation ship?" She paused, beak clicking "I cant have you keep losing company equipment Yantova... where is your ship?"
Annie grimaced, still rubbing one tired eye "Very sorry Miss Ivana, Sir... My ship is still at my last co-ordinates, and two men aboard this ship need medical attention immediately... sir"
Ivana frowned again, ruffling her feather "Okay, enter Bay 35... If that ship strays anywhere else we'l blow it out of the sky... You'l be the death of me Yantova..."

Tabby purred in delight as Chronin pulled her close. She grinned and her staring eyes filled with lust, as she started pulling off his close, getting more frantic as she felt his bare chest.

Kateri's eyes widened as she she got picked up off the ground, but her voice was calm as she stared into the violently strong dragoness.
"Don't worry, your son is safe. He's upstairs, we've been taking care of him while you were away, and he's an upstanding citizen."

The desert hare smirked behind her mask, and prodded him with the gun.
"You can't keep the peace by killing the citizens; and you have killed innocent citizens. Shooting suspected criminals before they're charged or even arrested? That's a goldmine for miscarriages of justice. So how many innocents do you think you killed in all this time? Certainly enough to make you a serial killer." She pushed the gun up his back towards his head. "If you sat back and looked at yourself as a criminal, would you kill yourself?" She prodded the back of his head, then pulled the gun away, slotting it into a holster attached to a gunbelt that held her Abaya to her hips. "I wouldn't, but then I don't kill others like you do, especially if their back is turned."

The female ferret shook her head.
"it doesn't explain it entirely, something's off," she murmured, before hurling another question at Nero. "You have a break in space/time, right at your centre. How? Why?"

"Nice woman," David smirked, and then swivelled in his chair to nod at Annie.
"thanks a lot, now where's Bay 35?" he glanced down the corridor and whispered a frown before turning back to his controls. "You didnt see Reggie on the way, did you? normally I'm the last to wake up."

Annie also looked down the corridor, tail giving a nervous swish at the mention of Reggie. She shook her head, looking back out of the main view screen "Havnt seen him today... And its that one there." She pointed to a small hangar bay, a slight blue shimmer the only signs that it was protected by an eviro-shield. She yawned again, stretching languidly "Just fly straight in and land anywhere... Its the bay Me and Blaze normally use and the enviro-shield will reform around the ship."

"Right, got it." David held the controls and guided the ship through the vacuum, floating in silence toward the pulsing lights of the hangar bay. The blue haze of the shield slid over the hull, as the ship entered the the bay, swooping over other ships of similar size, before settling in a space. The snake gave a little smile of satisfaction, before grabbing the comms.
"Reggie, wake up, you dozey fox, we've arrived." After putting the comms back, swivelled the chair bounce out of it, facing Annie. "You're our liaison, you best tell them what's going on."
"Parents always think kids are wasting their youth, and always have done [so] down through the millennia," says Tom Forsyth of RAD Game Tools. "'That Ug, always holding things. His front paws will develop in funny ways. Why can't he walk on all fours like normal proto-hominids?' And so, whatever the kids spend the most time doing, that's always what parents think is a waste of time, and what is corrupting their lives. It doesn't matter what that is. If all they did was homework, parents would be worrying that their kids aren't becoming well-rounded people. And, in fact, parents do this - enrolling math nerds in karate classes and the like. There is no way to win - parental paranoia ensures that kids are always doing the wrong thing."
