Tess had an ear pressed against the side of the ship, listening to the deep thrumming sound of its engine ticking over. She jumped back suddenly, looking up at David. At her side RUST-E gave a sharp beep, and rapidly whirred backwards, away from the ship. Tess held her hands up in the air, as if David held a gun to her "Woah... Calm it down... Just checkin' out your ship..."

She stopped, watching as the two stretcher bearers walked down the ramp and started off at a quick pace across the hangar. She lost interest in both David and the ship, running off at full pelt to catch up with them. Her droid followed, beeping what sounded like an apology to David as it whirred away, zigzagging between engineers.





Annie looked up as David shooed Tess away. She smiled to Reggie, winking surreptitiously before shouting over to David, loudly enough for most of the nearby people to hear "N'aaw... Leave her a lone, she's the best engineer we got in this hangar!" Over beside the stretcher bearers, Tess gave a mock salute, whistling her agreement.

Annie smirked, only to have the smile wiped away as David barged past Reggie, and started off after the stretchers... She looked from David, to Reggie, a frown already forming "Reg... What did he mean?" She pulled her hands out of her pockets, taking a step closer as she frowned "What was the reason David didnt want me interfering?... Tell me, or i swear whatever we had going is over before it even started..."





Blaze groaned as he lay back in the stretcher, glimpses of the steel ceiling and florescent light bobbing past. A familiar face poked over the side, as Tess looked down at him "Yo Blaze... Sup this time?"
Blaze smiled, trying to sit up in the constantly moving stretcher "Ah, nothing... You know me, always gettin' into trouble... Always getting straight back out again..."
 He laughed, rather spoiling it by clenching his chest and falling back into the stretcher. Tess frowned, but said no more, as the wolves walked through a large pair of double doors and into the steel corridor beyond...

Kitt turned and walked down the hall towards the canteen. Along the way he surfed through the old files on the I.U.G.net locating songs that he like before settling on a metal band from the frozen reaches. As he walked into the canteen Kitt shut down the music player, and walked over to place an order for his meal. After getting his order of a large serving of Hash Browns, Sassage, Bacon, Eggs over easy, Toast, and a few Breakfast Peppers, Kitt made his way over to a table when he noticed Seema sitting at the far end of the room. Quickly changing his path he walked over to the table where Seema was sitting and took a seat.
"Hello Seema, How are you doing today?" Kitt asked as he gave her a discreet once over while he set down his plate.

Chronin pulled her hands and arms over her head as he kept her at bay with another kiss, then tried to somehow disarm her by winding down her 'frisky' meter. "My aunt should be here any minute now, and she probably doesn't want a bounty hunter like yourself anywhere near me. So please can you keep your hands to yourself until we get back to my place?"

only a half-second later there was a rather loud knock at his door as Vuranin was standing just behind it and waiting for her son to come answer. Both were suprised at what the saw of the other as Chronin opened the door to see a dragoness with flaming hair while the dragoness saw someone that looked like Chrono, but much more muscular and taller.

"Um, hello?" they said in unison as this was a somewhat awkward moment for both of them...

Reggie gritted his teeth, almost growling at David's back, but eventually, the anger crumbled, collapsing and replaced by resignation. His eyes switched from David to Annie, looking into her frown, feeling her stare.
"I guess now's a good a time as any," he said, pushing his hands into the pockets of his jeans. His massive form seemed to shrink as he looked at the floor, then back up at her. "I'm not, strictly speaking, single. There's someone back home who I used to call my girlfriend." His face was honest, almost pleading understanding. "After I met you, I can't say that she is anymore. Or that she ever has been. Maybe she loves me but to me, she's a distraction. I treat her like a pet to entertain me when I want her to." The hands in his pockets turned into fists. "Yeah I'm a monster... and I was stupid for thinking that I could hide this from you and still make something good. I'm sorry I wasted your time." He stopped, and turned to walk back up into the ship.



David rushed to catch up with the medic team, barely even glancing at Tess as he passed her by and caught up with the unconscious Jaack, who seemed less and less alive with every second. The wolves carrying him didn't look too positive either. David nudged one of them.
"Hey, is he gonna be okay? Can you fix him?"






Seema growled at her datapad, gripping it tight in her paws, scowling down at it.
"Oh for God's sake!" She slammed the pad onto the table and ran her hands through her hair, before glancing at Kitt. "I'm just dandy, thanks," she said, and grabbed one of his sausages, popping the end into her mouth and taking a bite. "I just got word about that spec ops guy we ordered. Turns out the Capital Sphere is prepping for a jump, so it'll take a little longer for him to leave." She sat back and folded her arms, chewing the sausage, frowning, and blowing her hair out of her eyes. "We're gonna get one of the security guys to fill in for your training, so eat up," she said, and stole another sausage.




Tabby's shot her eyes at the knocking door, then picked up Chronin's quilt hid underneath it, while the dragon stood up to answer the door. When he and Vuranin spoke, she peeked from the quilt, and saw the two impressive dragons staring at eachother.



JasON watched Vuranin walk upstairs, before turning to Vix.
"Why didn't you tell her about the girl? She'll barge right in." he said. Kateri twitched at the words.
"Girl? What girl?" she asked, looking from the AI to the fox. Vix put her hands up to calm them down.
"Chronin brought a girl home and took her to his room. It turns out he only just met her this morning, so he deserves to get interrupted, the stupid boy." She turned and shuffled back into the living room, sitting to watch her movies. Kateri gave and incredulous little smile and put her hands on her hips, but soon she couldn't stop her giggles.

It seemed that they were moving in perfect harmony as if they were staring at a reflection of their gender opposite. "Soooo, what's your name?" It took a few seconds for them to decide who spoke first, but it eventually worked out and as he spoke, she only gawked at what her son become after 25 years of neglect on her part. "Now your turn." "Um; Vuranin Epheral: your mother".

It had been a long time since he saw her, but when she mentioned that one small fact, the memories that she was in had turned back on, and his consious mind had turned off as he hit the floor in the first and hopefully last faint of his life. Vuranin was just confused as to how she should deal with her son fainting on top of her as she looked at Kateri with a look that showed just how confused she truly was.

Nero couldn't help but burst into cackling laughter at the frightened crowd.  As Leia stared at the socket she felt something tug at her mind.  All of her emotions and thoughts seemed to be siphoning out of her and into the blackness of the socket.  He began to speak through his own laughter whilst speaking to Leia in her mind.  The voice in her head was far different to the one coming from his mouth.  It seemed as if the screams of a thousand planets all seemed to mold together to form the words.

"Its because I do not wish to yet.  I am right where I want to be.  Until it is time for me to leave, I will comply with what you ask"

Yu-Razul thought for a moment, what if he had killed someone Innocent?

"Ok, if i had i wouldnt kill myself no. I would instead do what was possible to make it up, even if it meant to allow there nearest relative the right to kill me if they so wished. Of course i would like to help others as much as i can first." Yu-Razul tried to relax, whatwas this hare getting at?

As Reggie started to walk back to the ship a hand gripped his shoulder, stopping him from walking any further. Annie stood, the frown long gone as she held tightly onto Reggie. She sighed, leaning close she whispered into his ear, almost having to go onto the tips of her toes to reach "Well... I'm glad you where finally honest about it... But you never wasted my time..."

 She turned him around, facing him again she laid a hand tenderly across his large chest "Look... Your a sweet guy, and its been a long time since i felt this for anyone... " She sighed again, turning to watch as the stretcher bearers disappeared through the double doors of the hangar. She looked back up at Reggie, torn between him and her son "If you still want this, then so do I... But right now i need to be with my son... And i think you need to be with Jaack..."

With that she turned and started to walk towards the hangar doors, tailing flicking behind her...






The wolf that David nudged looked from him to Jaack, frowning as they continued to weave between engineers and Droids "We're doing our best... We just have to hope he doesnt go into cardiac-arrest before we get him on the surgical table..." The largest of the wolves put two fingers to Jaack's neck, frowning even more he made a quick motion for the stretcher bearers to speed up. They did so, breaking into a light jog as the lead wolf shouted for the crowds to part and let them through...

Tabby burst out from under the quilt, and Kateri burst up the stairs, both running to Chronin's side. They gave a glance at eachother.
"Hi, I'm Tabby,"
"Kateri, nice to meet you," the aunt replied as she tapped her nephew's face, trying to wake him up. Tabby looked up at Vuranin.
"What did you do to him?"
"Leave her alone," Kateri pulled attention back to Chronin. "He's just fainted, we should to get his legs elevated. Help me take him to the bed."




The officer planted his feet, in front of the rest of the crowd, displaying his confidence and strength. Others joined by him, though some still stayed back.
"What decides when it's time to leave?" he said.

Leia pulled her her hands around her, like a barrier against Nero, but she continued to stare, wide eyed. Her tail began to puff up in fear, but her legs refused to step back.
"I..." Her voice was almost silent, murmuring and mumbling like a child. "I can't... they won't tell..."





The hare shook her head in disgust.
"You would give yourself the luxury that you refuse to all others. You think you're the only one capable of redemption?" Her paws became fists at her side. "You're a selfish, arrogant, coward, and those pirates should have killed you." She turned, and headed off back into the dust.




Reggie watched her walk, and couldn't stop his smile. He chased after her and with his great strength, wrapped her in a tight hug, lifting her from the ground. He then turned her around, gave a quick kiss and grabbed her hand.
"We're not gonna catch up by walking," he said, and headed off running, pulling Annie along behind him.

David wrung his hands, pulling off some of his old snake skin, while the medics pushed through double doors into the medical bay, heading into an ICU.
"We have an emergency here!" yelled the lead wolf. "Severe bacterial infection, put crash team on standby!" Almost instantly, Jaack and Blaze were swarmed by specialists, dressed in white and clinical blue. David was pushed to the side.

Annie laughed, the moment of annoyance lost entirely as she broke into a run to match Reggie's. The pair tore through crowds of Engineers and Explorators, wolves, foxes and felines all shouting out in annoyance as they crossed the hangar deck at high speed.



In the ICU a bright-yellow skink pushed through the specialists, already pulling on a surgical mask "Okay, two drips of polymorphide, we need to buy these guys time until we work out what the hell is inside of 'em..."
As the surgeons crowded around the two, a young nurse shooed Tess to one side as well "I'm very sorry... You really need to move out of the way here..." Tess moved as she was told, jumping slightly to try and get a view over the rows of medics...

They did is all Yu-Razul thought. He had lost everything, he wasnt being selfish, he was doing what no one else was willing to do. Who could understand? Yu-Razul turned and picked up his rifle. He began blasting at the mercs like a sniper. These blasted traitors, murderers, and thieves, no one deserved life if there was darkness in his heart. Yu-Razul knew he didnt deserve life but he couldnt surrender to those wants not when there were others to stop.

"This is for my father, my Mother, and all of those who've died!" Shouted Yu-Razul as he started to march forward continuing to fire at the bewildered mercenaries. He ducked behind a boulder and through a shrapnel grenade at there explosives they were loading.

Looking to his side Leo began to worry a bit when he noticed how strangely Leia seemed to be acting strange. Noticeing her tail fur standing on end he cautiously placed a hand on her shoulder giveing her a slight gentle shake.
"Something wrong Leia?" He asked in a concerned tone, wandering what she was mumbleing about.

Reggie and Annie burst through into the med-bay, finding David sticking his arms out to stop them going right into the ICU.
"Woah stop, stop. They're not letting anyone in."
"How are they?" Reggie said with slightly heavier breaths.
"If you want to know about Blaze, ask her," he said, pointing a thumb over at Tess as she hopped about, while RUST-E tried to push his way through the doctors to get a look for her. "But he should be okay. These people know what they're doing." Reggie squeezed Annie's hand with a smile.
"Good, what about Jaack?" he asked. David's face went cold, and he brushed his chin as he looked away. "David," Reggie persisted. "Is Jaack okay?" His smile was faltering, and then a blue light flicked on in the ICU. Alarms started to blare, specialists rushed around, and the crash team rushed in.
"He's going into cardiac arrest, get the cart ready." Reggie pushed David aside, heading to the window into the ICU, seeing a mass of blue clothed doctors and nurses. Alarms and lights screaming. Jaack was hidden, lost in the crowd.
"Clear!"
Reggie slammed his fist against the window.
"Clear!"
He gripped his hair, wrenching it out.
"Clear!"


One by one, the machines were switched off. The alarms went silent, and the lights died.






Mercenaries yelled and ran from the explosion, blowing dust and fire. They hid behind rocks, or their transports, firing back, or screaming in agony.






Leia grabbed Leo's arm, digging in her claws, as she shook in fear. She pulled him to her, holding him close, whispering into his ear.
"Help me... save me."

Vuranin nodded and carried him over to the bed, and put him down rather easily despite the fact that he was still wearing the jacket and pants, which weighed about fifty kilos each and the vest alone being about seventy kilos due to the amount of high-density material used to mitigate shock, blunt trauma, and obviously bullets. When Kateri lifted up his vest, she found out the hard-way that he definatly inherited his mother's body strength since he walked around rather easily with all of that armor on. Vuranin slid a pillow under his feet and used her tail as an improvised seat while waiting for him to wake up, with at least a small smile since he had obviously had grown strong during her absence regardless of his genetic tie to her very un-athletic husband.

Kitt smiled as Seema took a couple of his saussages, then tucked in. After Kitt finnished his meal he stood and looked at Seema,
"Seema, if you would please, can we go start trying out the new memories that I have?" Kitt offered Seema his hand as a gentleman would.
