Reggie shifted along the floor, up against the corner of the tiny room. Slowly he managed to sit up against the wall, allowing him to move his arms just a little easier. His fingers gripped his body, and as he tried to move about, he could feel how tight he had been bound. His clothes were gone, to remove almost all wriggle room. His fingers gripped and pulled along his fur, climbing up his body, getting his hands almost to his front before there was no more give. He growled hard and made a series of feral barks as he tried to shift and pull in vain. He looked down, then bit at the restraints, pulling at them with his teeth.
David gave a suspicious little glance at the girl and her toy, then walking with her over to the ship.
"Go take a look." he said, not taking his eyes of her for a second.
As Leo asked the question, Leia moved faster, stepping hard and quick, pulling him along. "He's in my head. That hyena. I can hear his song, and it hurts." She closed her eyes, shaking her head trying to get rid of the noise, walking faster. "I can't stop him, I have to obey, he says I'm a good girl if I obey." They reach the station, and she keeps walking, eyes closed, head shaking, tail puffed.
"Are they in place to catch him?" The serval leaned on his subordinates chair, staring through the viewscreen at the lifeless merc ship. Another ship, bright and covered in wing like modules floated beside it.
"Looks like," said the dingo in the chair. He tapped on his ear, activating comms. "Detonate when ready." There was a pause, the cat getting more and more excited, leaning further forward. Then, the blast. Flames shot out and disappeared in space, and along with it, debris and air blasted towards the second ship.
"Did they get him?"
"I don't think so." The dingo squinted at the screen. "Nope, he's clinging to the hull." The serval stood a little straighter, and tilted his head.
"How long can he survive in space? Two minutes?"
"Yeah that's the average." They watched as the dragon crawled onto the top of the ship. "I bet you ten slips that he misses," the dingo said, leaning back in his chair.
"Pffft," the cat rolled his eyes. "If you saw his record, you would not be making that bet. But sure, I'll have your money." They shook hands, and the dingo pressed a finger into his ear again.
"Security teams, he's coming to us, get to the hatches." They both watched as the dragon prepped himself. The serval practically bouncing with excitement.
"Oh... oh... he's jumping!" The cat almost jumped with him, as they watched the dragon soar through space.
"Miss, miss, miss, miss,"
"Catch, catch, catch, YES!" The cat cheered and punched the air, while the dingo groaned, hanging his head as he reached into his pocket, and pulled out the his wallet, filled with local cash, and handing it over. The cat grinned as he pinched some notes. "I love taking your money."
"Well then we should celebrate your win by buying me a meal." The dingo still had his head down low, but looked up with a sly smile, making the serval whack him in the shoulder.
The hatch closed with a hiss behind Yu-Razul, as he climbed up and faced the only door. There was a shot, muted, and high pitched. Taser rounds shot out at his back.
The opponent pressed against the, shooting off four more models before launching himself away, planting some more on the wall. As the punch came flying in, he pressed himself back against the wall, took aim with his arms, and an emitter curled out of the forearm, letting loose kinetic waves. More and more, slowing Kitt down. He pointed an arm at the ground, aimed the kinetic blaster, and launched himself high over Kitt. He fired off more modules, putting some on each surface of the room.
