Vuranin went back to the door, and leaned against it. "Nero can tell you when hes done playing hide-and-seek. The only thing you need to know is that I come from the same space that he did, and that I also know that there are two others in there."




Chronin felt the ship was soon reaching the half-way point while he was back in his meditative state. He slowly opened his eyes, but the sight of fur caused them to snap open as Tabby was staring at him with a half-tilted head. "Exactly how long have you been staring at me, and why?" he asked with a rather indifferent tone.

Leos ear flicked hearing that who ever it was had the same origons as Nero and leaned against the wall growling "Aw great..." regretingly giveing who ever it was the benifet of a doubt on weather or not she would be just as menacing as the hyeena. Thinking for a bit he called out "So, Can we help you!?" carefully chooseing his words to not sound as demanding before faceing kane mouthing to him "Do not, threat, or demand anything from who ever this is" showing some signs of fear.

Bikes roared by underneath the catwalk, the sharp smell of ozone and mag-fuel filled the confined space as the steel-girder platform shook and juddered "C'mon! Grind im' on the side!" Tess leant as far over the catwalk railing as she could, her hair whipping back as another trio of bike roared past, making the railing shudder and shake again. Blaze stood beside her, arms crossed and leaning on the railing.


He kept shooting sidelong glances at Tess, moving closer to her as the catwalk shuddered again with a roar of engines "I reckon my bike would outstrip all these jockeys... That job you did on it was awesome..." Tess looked up from the track, smiling "Eh, just helping a friend..." Blaze grimaced slightly, moving closer still "Yeah about that... Tess..."

The catwalk juddered, as below them a bike roared past, scant centimetres from the steel supports before careering around a corner "Did you ever think that we could... I dunno, be more than just..." At that moment RUST-E bumped heavily into Blaze's leg from behind, knocking him hard against the catwalk railing. The little droid gave an apologetic whistle, backing away with many little trills and beeps. Blaze rubbed his calf gingerly, meanwhile Tess gave a loud shout of joy as a Mag-racer smashed against the track wall, sparks and pieces of metal flying everywhere...

 "Hah! I told you someone'd crash dude!" The moment was gone...

Tabby smiled wide, and she looked deep into Chronin's eyes.
"Well I like looking at sexy things. There's nothing unusual about that." She looked up and thought for a moment. "Well maybe breaking into your room is a bit unusual, but I like you." She leaned down and kissed his lips.

Chronin's mood didn't change a bit after she kissed him, he was still annoyed at how she can be flirty, cold, and indifferent all at once.

"You know, its hard to not get angry when only twenty hours ago you called me a 'toy' with a knife at my neck, and now I get kissed. I understand that I'm far from self-contained, but in two days you've messed with my head with your flip-flop attitude towards me. Now, what part of 'explosive container' did you not understand?" He growled as he felt her hand on the cylinder that was inside his jacket.

Yesterday morning, he never even knew this woman, and now he wished that he'd never gotten interested in her as Kateri's words rang through his mind.

"Mmm hehe." Tabby giggled and put her lips close to Chronin's ear. "I was curious." She grinned, stroked her hand over his body armour, and looking him in the eyes with a knowing spark. "Your mind is burning right now, isn't it. Paranoia, frustration, indignation, maybe a touch of fear?" Her stroking hand smoothed up along his neck, to his lips, feeling his growl. "Don't be upset. I'll let you bite me if you want." She giggled again, and rested herself upon him.

Chronin had enough of her flirtations, and simply sat up, easily 'knocking' her off and hiding his body's slight excitement.

"I'm not frustrated, indignified, or afraid. I'm getting fed up with a cat that thinks I'm just another 'conquest', like those meatheads at the mess hall." He grabbed her by the shoulder, opened the door, and pushed her out.

"You want someone to mess with? Jetho is down the hall to your left. We have one more day before we arrive at their last known location." he calmly said before shutting the door and going back to meditation.



Vuranin leans against the wall to the right of the door, and growls inwardly as she hears the dumbest question she heard since she got here. "Obviously, I would like the one that Nero is inhabiting, to actually speak with me, or at least touch the door..."

Takes some offence to the word obvious, even though she was looking for nero it was still unknown why she wanted him. Looking back to Leia and back at the door.

Tabby leaned back against the cold door and gave a heavy laugh.
"You don't conquer a toy, you just play with them!" She yelled and then pushed off to waltz through the ship, with insouciant swagger. She caught a electronic sign by a door, with Jetho's name on it, which made her stop and lick her teeth with ideas. She went to the door, and prised it open, just a crack, seeing the big tiger huffing through press ups. He was topless, making Tabby smile and put on her sunglasses, setting it to record. She sat down and folded her arms, watching the show until she got bored. So she whistled.
"Hey, you want a drink? I'm thirsty."




Kane and Abel looked over at Leia, and she stared at the door, while gripping Leo tight, keeping hold of him. Her legs shook with the urge to walk to the door, and she whimpered, with a harsh voice.

Jetho turned to Tabby, and felt a pang of fear when she asked if he wanted a drink. Chronin seriously referred to her as a 'widow-maker' and he was not interested in finding out the reason.

"J-just water, no additives..." was all he could say before he flipped over and started doing push-ups. Jetho was surprisingly bulky for a tiger, but what drove him to keep exercising was that his friend Chronin was still able to beat him in contests of pure strength.

"Actually, do you know how Chronin got that strong??" He asked, expecting her to not have left yet.

Leo scratched his head a few times thinking for a bit looking at the door, giveing a frown at the various things that could happen he used his hand that was still at his side to slowly reach behind him turning the safety off on his Plasma Pistol being sure to make it inaudible as he undid the strap that was holding it down. "Please, this will only take a second... I'll walk with you. It'll be fine" he said walking her to the door.

Tabby gave a little smile, and headed of to the ration store. It was nothing more than a closet filled with cupboards. She opened one, and took out two bottles of water. When she came back, she walked into Jetho's room, put the bottle beside him and sat on his bed, taking a drink.
"I'm surprised that you dont know," she said. "You seem to be good friends with the dragon." She drank more down, looking at him over the bottle.





Leia's grip became tighter and tighter, and she moved behind Leo, pushing him to the door, as she felt Vuranin's presence grow stronger.
"Master," she whispered. "Someone's here to see you."

Nero sighed inside Leia's mind.  ...I KnoW...I WilL TakE CarE OF IT...  Leia suddenly began to gag as as a black tar-like substance filled her lungs and throat.  She doubled over as the substance poured out of her mouth and onto the ground.  The tar slithered across the ground and sat at the front of the door.  For a moment it didn't move...as if it was looking at the door.  Then, in a flash, the door was off of its hinges with the tar sitting on top of it.  Slowly the tar rose upwards and formed a black anthromorphic figure with hollow eyesockets.  It turned to Vuranin angrily before speaking.

"WhaT DO YoU WanT?!"

Jetho laughed at the idea of him not knowing, no matter how true or sad it was.

"Hes usually the type to keep quiet yet make more noise than the normal braggart. Hes only told us that his family died during the Everflame incident, something that most of the squad had in common. Beyond that, we never really paid attention to his ingenuity or his strength unless it saved our lives. Hes never been this open before, but I can only guess its due to the second 'seduction' incident..." Jetho shuddered as he started to recall evidence of a mutilation over every square inch of the room.




Vuranin could only chuckle at his choice of host, and then looked towards the other end of the corridor.

"I was worried when your aura weakened, but I see you've found a vessel." She paced down towards the door, then looked back at him as her hair lit up in agitation.

"I know the exile was a stupid decision on their part, but don't justify it by taking over my job..."

"YouR JoB?  I'M SO SorrY.  I'lL JusT WaltZ RighT BacK HomE TheN...SincE You'vE DonE SucH A BanG UP JoB SO FaR!"  The tone was a joyous one but the snarl that the figure wore said otherwise.  "WhilE I'M AT IT, I ThinK I'lL MakE FlowerS ComE OuT OF MY EarS!  HowS ThaT SounD, OH GloriouS RetreiveR OF ThE FlamE?!"  The Nero-thing spat at the ground, ending the sentence and the tone.

"NoW ListeN UP AnD ListeN GooD, CausE I'm OnlY SayinG ThiS OncE!  BacK OfF AnD GO HomE!  I'lL RetrievE ThE EverflamE...WithouT GettinG DistracteD, LikE YoU.  UnderstanD?"
