Yes, but other contries could help as well, Especiay China. China is a big-time trader with Sudan for oil. If china threatened to stop trade if something isn't done about darfur, the government would have to do something. If we could get Sudan's trading partners to boycot trading with Sudan, it might very well do somethng. A stupid peace agreement won't do anything to hep. And the city oficials in Chad of the towns/cities by the refugee camps are t rying to force them elsewhere because the camps are "too ugly for the town and deterring people." We need to get the Sudanee government to let in UN peacekeepers, among other things.

In July of 2003, a small group of Darfurian rebels attacked a few government buildings. The Sudanee government countered this by employing a group of nomadic arabs they supported to rap women and girls, raid, pillage, and burn villages, kill the men, take away the girls, etc. Pretty much this goup is to do anythng horrible they can come up with to the people of Darfur. They are called Janjaweed, "devils on horseback".
