you might do or you might not! but at the end of the day it's really not worth worrying about. when you are at an older age it'll probably not bother you that you're not interested in the furry fandom anymore. or you may still take part in the fandom (like check up on fav artists or go to the odd informal meet) but not really identify as one.

if it makes you feel any better... i know a few furries who're aged between 30 and 40. and they're just as furry as the next 16 year old newbie.

When I was sixteen, I was really worried about changing as I grew older and losing the person I was right then.  Two things that made me feel better were:  the movie, Dark City, and the book, "A Miracle of Rare Design" by Mike Resnick.  They're both stories about maintaining the integral core of yourself despite undergoing vast changes -- in Dark City the main character repeatedly has his memories changed or erased, but he manages to stay himself through it all.  In "A Miracle of Rare Design," the main character is physically changed into all different kinds of aliens through the course of the plot which affects the way he thinks...  It's a really neat book.  And I found it particularly uplifting and hopeful when I used to worry about changing as I aged.

[The Past]

I doubt I will forget about being a furry. Animation will be my career hopefully, and with my characters being anthropomorphic there's no way I can grow out of my interest in the fandom.

ive always wanted to join the army and be a sniper but the way our government is now, i changed my mind, i know hope for a family, a walk in fursuiting store and FURRY4EVER!
