*several days later* "how's your english coming, Nali?"pheonix asked after her most recent lesson

[Nali]

"Good."  Nali said, turning to face pheonix.  "Thanks for the CD lesson thingies, again."  She said, smiling.  "Hey,can I ask a question?"

[pheonixrebirth]

"what' do you need, cute thing?" he teases, playfully flicking an ear

[Nali]

Nali smiled a bit wider, then her face turned more serious.  "That first day.  Why did you take me in?"  She asked, looking up at pheonix for an answer.

[pheonixrebirth]

"i've never had a friend before, so i thought 'why not take this chance to make one?' it seems to have turned out well, does it not?"

[Nali]

Nali nodded.  "Yeah."  She said, smiling again.  She stood up and stood in front of him.  "What's fun in town?"  She asked.  She'd wanted to go, but wanted a bit better English first, and she figured she learned enough to communicate well enough.

[pheonixrebirth]

"well, you lived there, i've never been there actually... so i'd think you'd know more than i would... do you want to go into town?" he asked, kind of interested about the town.

[Nali]

"I'm not from Bazil.  I lived in Argentina."  Nali told pheonix.  "So, I don't know town."

[pheonixrebirth]

"oh, ok. I lived in Norway, i loved gliding through the fjords. I guess we could explore the town together..." he looked worried about his appearance, a long hanging loincloth and brassard, wondering about if he should try to locate one of the 'other' cities....

[Nali]

Nali noticed pheonix seemed worried.  "What's wro- oh, right."  She said, touching her ears lightly.  "We'd stand out there."  She sighed.

[pheonixrebirth]

"but i've heard rumors about towns made just for people like us. there's one supposedly in this forest. i've not found it, but should we look anyways?" he asked, hoping she would understand. "i've never really been to a city, this might be a great place we could visit"

[Nali]

"A city... for us..."  Nali replied slowly.  "Yeah.  Look, look."  She said to him excitedly.

[pheonixrebirth]

"well, wandering in the woods isn't a good idea, i know that. so, we'll set up a lookout possibly? scavenge into the woods at times and look for traces? i haven't gone one mile from this area..."

[Nali]

Nali looked confused at pheonix.  "I can't find things good."  She said, smiling.  "But can a city be hard to see from the sky?"

[pheonixrebirth]

"that's a good idea, you can stay alone for a few hours, right?" he asked, cautiously.
