How dare I? I'll list a few reasons just to satisfy your curiosity.

• The creator of homestuck is kinda a prick to start things off, I know a lot of people who do webcomics, and he's the only one I've even heard of that is so pissy about other people doing fanart. For example at an anime convention Artist in the Artist Ally aren't allowed to sell anything homestuck related even if its completely there own work (say a homestuck plushy?) Unless Directly Commissioned By A Participant At That Convention. I mean they can't even use it as examples of there art work on display. I don't know about you but that sounds pretty elitist to me, and well to be honest he is the only person who's that pissy about his (not even that good) webcomic.

• Second, the fandom as a whole is pretty much one big flash fad, because believe it or not it had be around a good while before everyone was like "OMGZ hOMEsTUCK IZ TtLY AWSoME~!" I dislike a lot of things that are fads because more often then not there not really worth the attention, and there success is more do to mob mentality, then quality product.

• It's not that good to be honest, I felt like driving a stake threw my head was a better use of my time then to read it.
