Nation name: The Khe'val
Race: Khe’val
Nation Size: 1 - One planet and Five moons.
Government type: Absolute and Unquestionable Communism
Important Government Figures: The council of the Khe'val, made up of twenty five of the most influential female Khe’val from all sectors of the nation
Economy: State owned and government run
Important economic leaders: He’ka’to, she is the most influential Khe’val in the Khe'val Council
Religions: None, to believe in untrue and petty religious faith is not to be a Khe’val. Instead follow the unquestionable greater good of Khe'val kind!
Points of Interest: The Khe'val have control of only a single planet. It is a veritable haven, vast expanses of verdant jungle, roaring rivers of ultramarine water, and wide Plato’s of golden grass. Around the planet orbits five moons, each a ball of rock, and precious ores and minerals. Every one of the moons is heavily industrialised, and is where the Khe’val extract all their materials, as well as being a defensive fortress of firepower.
Every five years, hard working citizens of the Khe'val are allowed to return to the planet surface, living five years in their natural home. After this time they return to the moons to harvest and work once more. Groups of citizens are cycled so there are constantly Khe’val working, and Khe’val relaxing on their homeworld surface.
History: To understand the Khe’val, as an inferior species, is like trying to understand a well orchestrated machine. An average Khe’val female, for the males are weaker and considered a flimsy chain in an otherwise strong species, stand around six foot high. Sleek fur covers much of their body, and their digitigrade feet are adorned with serrated claws. Each grows a pair of horns, black as obsidian, from the crown of their head and back down their neck.
The people of Khe’val have always been united, for it is imprinted on their very biological being. To want only for thyself, and to be greedy, is to not be Khe’val at all. It was a race seemingly evolved for communism. Being naturally very intelligent, strong and agile, Khe’val make the perfect workers and fighters. It was only a matter of time before they took to the stars, and inhabited the moons around they’re planet.
For reasons unknown, no Khe’val ships have ever ventured past twenty-five hundered miles of their planet. It seems they share an intimate link with the original homeworld, one which is strong enough to keep their nation close and together.
Strengths and weaknesses (non-military): Khe’val females are powerfull creatures, able to tear a lesser species limb from limb with their bare claws. They are industrious and hard workers, but are extremely stubborn, rarely adapting to new situations.
Phaze Tech (Hyper Tech)The Khe’val have one true mastery of science, of which many lesser races are envious. Phaze Tech. Using monomer crystalic fields they can directly affect the directional flow of energy, ranging in many uses for their heavy space-bound ships:
-Phaze fields: Every Khe’val ship is equipped with phaze fields, helping them to slip underneath radar and sensors undetected. The field disrupts EM signals, bouncing them back in bizarre patterns to scramble systems. This technology has helped the small Khe’val fleets go unnoticed by larger nations many times.
-Phaze hulls: Every Khe’val ship is equipped with Phaze hulls, created from a mix of metallic compounds. They are naturally resistant to energy based weaponry, displacing the electro-field charge and dampening any damage effects.
-Phaze engines: Although rather un-imaginatively named, phaze engines are by no mean useless. Allowing a Khe’val ship to execute tight turns and manoeuvres, phase engines use an electro-monomer field to direct ion streams from the thrusters.
-Phaze cannons: Using the same electro-monomer field as with their engines, the Khe’val have created a kinetic based weapon that is similar in use to a railgun. Firing an explosive shell at hypervelocity, the Phaze cannon is a weapon with very long range, if slow firing speeds.
Military:Doctrine: (Broadside cannons... FIRE!)The Khe’val are a defensive race by nature, never venturing far from their home planet. For this reason, their ships are equally brutal but slow on the attack. Every Khe’val ship mounts their weaponry on the port and starboard side, and when going into battle, they form a very distinct side-one battleline. Once in position, the Khe’val cruisers pour AI calculated firestorms of Phaze-cannon shells into the enemy, the sheer volume of cannons firing making up for the individual slow speed. (Imagine old galleon ships firing broadsides in pirate movies... but in space!
)
The Khe'val use only one ship (aside from smaller civilian class ships) a powerful cruiser which creates the mainstay for the small Khe'val defence fleet...
Ship Class name: Khe’val Broadside cruiser
Hull size: Cruiser
Combat designation: Bombardment ship
Weapons: Ten batteries of Phaze-cannons on each side, each comprising of five individual cannons. No weaponry on top, bottom, front or rear.
Engines: Phaze engines, three thrusters at the rear, combined with the advanced Phaze-tech allows the cruiser to pivot quickly and bring its broadside to bear!
Defenses: Thick ablative armour, and Phaze hulls (see Phaze-tech for details, budding commander)
Ground armies: None... The Khe’val fight only in space. To fight on the surface of their homeworld would be barbaric, and taint such a beautiful world. It may seem strange to other inferior races, but to the Khe’val it would be like asking them to breathe under water.
Superweapon:-Fear The Great Bombardment Batteries of Khe’val!- The five moons of Khe’val are heavily industrialised, and so with factories producing artillery shells for Phaze-cannons on them, it seemed only logical to the defensive orientated Khe’val to mount weapons on them.
Each moon is dotted with huge steel structures, visible from space, each of which houses thousands of Phaze-cannons. Together they can orchestrate the largest criss-crossing rain of steel death ever seen. While useless in an offensive role, the Bombardment Batteries of Khe’val have proven effective at keeping intruders off home soil.
The one weakness of the Bombardment batteries is timing. For an entire week every year, the moons are aligned on one side of the planet, leaving the other defenceless. At other times of the year some areas are less protected than others due to the moons strange and elliptical orbits of the planet, meaning a very clever commander could orchestrate an attack without ever fearing the retribution of the Khe’val’s only superweapon.
That was a lot of writing and thought put into that
Hope its okay Gab, I tried to make my nation have both some good strengths, as well as weaknesses... If this Rp is as fun as it was just making this lot up and writing it, then t'is gonna be a good 'un!
