"yes, our creed forbids anyone out side the order to know both the mask and its wearer. the only others that see our faces are those in our squad, our lord when he gives us our face and those who we walk amongst each day when not called to our master." said the leader starting to get dressed again. "we have nothing but hope this war will be over soon, we all have lost something to the king, and we all have something greater to lose if we fail." she said looking to the ground. "i am called fang, this is saber, Phoenix, spike, talon and Luna." she said motioning to them in order, herself a fox(F). followed by a tiger(M), a humming bird(F), a lizard(M), an owl(F) and a wolf(F).

Tar-Ryn looked at Chronin and smirked. "As if I didn't know. I know what power runs through the veins of this red wood." He eyes were their natural blue and gold color as she put the bow on the bed.

[Chrono Blackwyng]

Chronin tried to keep himself from acting too frustrated, but it was still showing. "You must also know that the bow has a mind of its own, especially where I am concerned... right?"

[Shenzii]

"Spit it out already Chronin. I'm not one to play games and you know this already." She laid back and sighed heavily.

[Chrono Blackwyng]

"Odds are the bow made you shoot that girl! She wouldn't let go of my leg as me and Sorin were leaving, so the bow could have channeled its anger into you and direct it at her!" He sounded stressed, but this was something he rarely spoke of even to his own men...

[Shenzii]

Tar-Ryn slapped her hands on the bed and sat up. "No, I promise you I shot that feline because i wanted to. She is too young to be sassing her elders." Her eyes softened. "I'm sorry.... I'm just stressed I suppose," she sighed. She looked at him, her ears laying back.

[Chrono Blackwyng]

Chrono raised an eyebrow at Tar-Ryn. "You do realize we havn't even been around for thirty years, right? We're just more skilled and experienced than most people our age. Heck, we were engaged before you even turned twenty-three!" His voice came down afterwords and he pulled up a chair to sit down on. "You know, I got something to help with the stress. Just don't drink too much unless you want me to sleep here tonight."

[Shenzii]

Tar-Ryn looked at him oddly. "That feline is easily ten years younger than you and me. She should learn to hold her tongue." She rolled over, the bed squeaking softly.

[Chrono Blackwyng]

Chronin took out his 'skin and started drinking from it before corking it back up. "Someone should tell Sorin to hold his tongue, he is far too tall for negotiations. Now I shall follow example and shut my maw unless you want an opinion, Mistress Tar-Ryn."

[Shenzii]

"Why do you say such things?" She asked rolling back over to face him.

[Chrono Blackwyng]

Chronin couldn't look her in the eyes as he spoke again. "While we both turned our backs on the rebellion, he apparently found you and didn't bother to inform me even though none of my men were brought in from other units. All he sent you during the battle was warnings of supply caches and reserve warriors, I had to send my own men on suicide missions as decoys just to keep the king's focus off of the camps just an acre away!" Chrono had gotten out of the chair at this point, getting a bit too carried away with his emotions. "I say such things because Sorin still had a village to go back to, mine was the first to be ransacked because he apparently said you should come to my home village for 'war supplies'!!" Chronin took out his skin took another swig, but looked at Tar-Ryn and started to gag. It was obvious the drink was fine, but he kept up the act. "Thought I dumped all the water out, drinks ruined." He put the skin away and started to walk out of the room...

"Stop." she looked at him angrily. "Sorin made me aware of everything that was occurring. You shouldn't be so harsh." She sat up and rolled her eyes.


Sorin listened intently and sighed. He thought to himself how he should have been more forward, more protective of his brothers. He felt ashamed.

[Chrono Blackwyng]

Chronin growled under his breath as her words mixed with his own conscience. "You asked why I say such things, and that is why. Do you have anything else you wish to ask, Mistress?"

[Shenzii]

"No... more of a demand. Stop calling me mistress." She sighed softly and laid back down.

Chronin's frustration was all but snuffed out as he sat down on the floor. "As you say, Tar-Ryn..."
