"Oh my god! We'll take care of that right away!"

Akula led Darkness to a nearby infirmary, where he had an argument with the receptionist.

"Ok, Darkness. The doctor will fix that up in a jiffy."

Akula laughed.

"No no I'm not powerful. I'm just.... authoritative. Working as an inventor's apprentice taught me to never take rubbish from anyone, because it will only slow you down."

[Akula Filiko]

"That's right! I'm actually not that rich. I was an inventors apprentice, but my inventions failed so much that he disowned me. Since then I've been trying to think of clever inventions to make life easier."

[Akula Filiko]

"Well, I did invent a gun that uses pressure to fire rounds, thus making it almost silent."

[Akula Filiko]

"I don;t see why they wouldn't let you on board. You seem like a very capable wolf."

Akula looked at his pocketwatch.

[Akula Filiko]

"Well I believe that you will be well accepted on that ship. If not, just remember, don't take rubbish from anyone."

"Well you'll be getting food for sure, with a healthy does of adventure, no doubt."

He looked out the window, then back at Darkness.

"We should head out as soon as the doctor is done."

[Ares the Ram]

" I do hope that Akula and that wolf fellow return soon. Its getting close to midnight," said Macid as he tucked his pocket watch into his waistcoat. He dug out his notebook and pencil and began to write down descriptions of the ship as best he could. "If nothing else, this night should give me some ideas for a new book."

After a breif flight and contemplateing the new mwmbers of his crew he flew to the aft deck and reasorbed his wings then went to meet with Macid, Darkness, and Akula. after they had all assembled Kitt turned to them and said, "Alright I'm glad you all came to join me on my journeys. You are free to do what you want so long as you do not intentionaly damage my shipif you will follow me to the dining area we can discuse the travel plans that I have as well as how I came into posession of this fine ship." After turning his back it was clearly visible that the back of his shirt had been compleatly removed for his wings but as to where his wings were was anyones guess. it was also aperent that his clothes were made to be hard wearing but not overly expensive almost like he had to live life by the seat of his pants rather than a laid back life.after he reached the dinning room he sat down and motioned for the others to do the same before calling to the pilots compartment, "Daviey, lift off when ready." he smiled as the craft shuddered into flight.

"Hopefully somewhere better than this sad excuse, I mean rubbish, of a town."

He sat down next to Darkness, took off his hat, and sat back in his chair.

Akula had a nervous look on his face. He looked at Macid and the captain, who were conversing among themselves.

How long can I keep this charade going?, Akula thought to himself.

Akula was looking at the floor when he heard Darkness talking to him.

''Hm? Oh yes I'm fine. It's nothing."

He wiped his face with a handkerchief, then unbuttoned the top button on his shirt.

Maybe I should tell Darkness. I guess he is similar to me.

Akula looked at Darkness, then said, "Come with me. I'll tell you in the other room."

He stood up and went into the ship's study.

[Akula Filiko]

"Darkness, I'm not an inventor's apprentice. I'm an outlaw from The United States. I'm wanted in three cities: Calico, Tombstone, and Bode. I came to this country cause I was gonna be hanged."

[Akula Filiko]

"Thank you, Darkness, for understanding. When I was sentenced to be hanged, I couldn't believe it. I had to get out of the US. I miss it definitely, but I had no choice."

Akula found a chair and sat down with his chin resting on his hand.

"I needed a new life, a new opportunity. This seemed like that opportunity."
