Um, there might be, I've pokemon furries is quite common, but thats not goin too far in my opinion.. but still the farest i've seen anyone go..

elfs arent anthropormorphic animals, and thus do not count. he can have an elf avatar if he wants, it is not part of the furry. I think.

Furries do not only include Anthropomorphic animals, they include just about anything humanized. Even things such a brick with human qualities counts as an Anthro. An elf could count depending on your point of view as it is another kind of being all together with human characteristics. As furries are generally about the love of Anthropomorphic things, I could draw arms and legs on a water bottle and it could be a furry creature. So yeah the fandom is pretty loose based even if most do tend to be animalistic.

That's intense but I don't think those are furries. There should be a category of furry that falls under mechanics. xD

I've seen one of the transformers one, but an elf I can see being antho, but a brick, I mean I guess it technically dose have the right to be called one . The most extrem as you call it I've seen is, a Rudolf <--, but I would say that's more entitled to be one.

my definition of a Furry is someone who shows an interest in any sort of anthropomorphized animal... it can't already be a human with weird ears by definition
