Jerry heard the knock on the door, around the time he had finished pulling out all the knives. The pile had doubled in size if not more since he had counted. He set the straight jacket down and walked to the door. On the way he reached into his suit, pulled out a small handgun and opened the door slightly keeping the pistol hidden behind the door. It was the panther from earlier. "Yes? What is it? Make it quick, boy." He didn't expect to see him of all people, he was unsure of his intentions but if he wanted trouble he would be ready to protect True as were his orders. As he waited for Irvin to respond True ran out of the bathroom covered in soap suds. "Who is it, Jerry?!" "True! Get back in the bath, right now!" "I'm sorry, Jerry!" he said running back into the bathroom. He sighed and turned back to Irvin at the door.
Outside in the square the big screen lit up, along with all of the screens and televisions anywhere else. Two people came on the screen, behind them a typical news background. They were clearly announcers of some sort, blatantly obvious from the smiles on their faces. The fake and overly happy ones. On the left was a female dog, a golden retriever. To her left a male wolf with all black fur. "Hello, contestants! Welcome to Gore fest! We hope you are enjoying your trip so far. I'm Dennis and here with me is the ever so lovely Alexis!" said the wolf. "Oh come now, get on with the announcement you dog." Alexis responded playfully. "Right, first off, we will be the announcers for this month's show! And we are happy to be here! Now that that's out of the way, we're here to inform you of what you will be doing tomorrow. For the rest of the day you will be relaxing and enjoying the commodities of the town! For the rest of the day all the stores and bars are half price, so enjoy them while you can! As for tomorrow you will all have to retrieve a number from one of the many booths located through the town. Depending on your number is how you will be transported to Archteris. Those who draw an even number will be airlifted into the city via helicopters. Those who draw an odd number will be taken by boats. Both of which will drop you off at random locations in and around the city. Don't worry, the zombies won't be around when you arrive. Well, that wraps up that. Until we see you again! We're always watching..." Throughout his speech he was overly cheery and happy until the last sentence. His tone became more serious and sinister. Immediately after the screen went black.
