I've actually managed to connect with a furry group that I didn't meet on the forums. I still keep in touch with furs from the forums, but the group chat wasn't my thing. This other one is much more my style - immature, stupid and really simple.

Went to the new game store that opened up since I couldn't go last week. It ended up being pretty fun and I ended up playing some board games (Castle Panic and a variation called Dead Panic to be specific) for awhile with a group of people. One of the people there is starting a tabletop game based around gladiator battles and invited me and some of the other people to play so hopefully if my new work schedule works out I can go try it.

I'd say today was pretty good. In a good mood. A friend (Yes, I finally can say that about a few furs!   First time in over a decade)  was feeling down, and I'm pretty certain I was able to give him a paw up. And I just emailed the Marine recruiter, telling him I have the needed documents for the pre MEPS meeting. And today I held not one, but TWO conversations online with different furs    It might sound silly to you, but it is a MAJOR milestone for me. Granted, I don't feel like I contributed that much, but I did it. I'm learning to speak again!

Went to see Independence Day Resurgence... and I actually liked it. Also got to be at a friend's house, renewed my SWTOR subscription, and advanced a little on my published work's sequel. Yeah, I have had an awesome day!

I finally have my drivers... permit. Oh well, at least it's a step in the right direction. And, granted I only went 30 mph max, but I didn't make any errors.

I'm rather pleased with how my second fursona (Mara) turned out. I'm also really glad that there has been generally positive reception of her - despite most people's distaste for spiders.
(It was actually a challenge I set myself, make a likeable spider fursona)
