Bio: Originally born son of two common folk in a small kingdom, near current day Germany.  When Charcoal was 8, his parents were murdered in front of him and the king decided, instead of killing him, to train him as a knight.  during his training, he married the daughter of the king.  After two weeks of a happy marriage, the kingdom was attacked and Charcoal was stabbed.  As he was bleeding out, he saw his wife killed and he vowed vengance, unknowingly signing a contract with the devil in the process.  Charcoal now cannot die but still gets injured as bad as any other animal.
