The woods were closing in. The damp musky air filled the trees, masking everyone, and everything, around it. A twig snapped as he ran.
Faster and Faster, he dashed between bushes and barley missed the underbrush beneath him, filled with thorns that could tear the skin as a blade.
It was closing in, it was too late.
When suddenl-"WAP WAP WAP WAP WAP"
*ugh* Sol raised his head an inch, which was just enough to make out the 5:40 time that was flashing on his alarm clock.
Slowly and reluctantly he extended his hand and it fell upon the snooze button. "its gonna be a long day," he said.

This was his first year of school, in Sarum at least. Due to some, unexpected occurrences Sol's family had moved out of the area and he had to begin anew. In his junior year already, he was lucky enough to forget his old friends let alone make some. As he walked to the front steps of McAlester High he knew it couldn't get worse than this.
But sadly he was wrong.
