@minx: simple if they ask you why your wearing something to do with the real you, you can simply just answer. 'because i want to.' or 'because i feel like it.'

I wear my ears and sometimes my tail in public because I've seen so many of my non-fur friends do it. Lots of weaboo types wear ears and tails just to look like cute kemonomimi kids, so people don't automatically know I'm a furry just cause of that.
