Hot topic selling Fox and Wolf tails?! :o

I just bought a fox tail at Hot topic! Do you think they might be selling them because of the furry fandom becoming more popular? Because hot topic sells whatever is popular (Like Silly bands, Ripped jeans, internet meme shirts) Or is wearing foxtails becoming popular among goths and emos? Im curious why i was able to get one their

I've just noticed a bunch of people at my school wearing animal stuff, and I can tell you staight off they're not furs.

Most agreed Aoren. I got a better collar from the Dollar Store. I really need to get a new one though, had it for a year.
Maybe I'll post a pic of me wearing it...

But anyway, Hot Topic stuff is usally overpriced anyway. I'm making my own partial, so I get choice of everything that goes into it. I'd rather it that way, or maybe get one from Lion of the Sun (Talk about expensive though! But his skills are worth it.)

Hot topic is kind of meh, and If you want to buy tails check out party city xD Same quality as you'll find there (sadly true) and 120% cheaper.

I think the only reaseon people pay so much at Hot Topic is because they don't know the right places to get the stuff.

They should, Fox ears and a fox tail. I think that they still sell ears (cat) but they are usually not in stock

Hot Topic merchandise is usually licensed official merchandise that they've actually been permitted to sell (a lot of places sell that stuff without permission), so that's part of the reason they're so pricey.
Just remember that this thread isn't about how pricey Hot Topic is, but about them selling tails and why.
But yes, I've seen those tails there...didn't get one though because they didn't match my fursona.

there's this new thing (go youtube it) called Teenage werewolf's
and these kids are just as bad as the kids who think there vampires. And if they are not careful they will add more badness to the fandom i believe

These kids believe so much there a werewolf that in one case a kid actually killed there neighbors dog and took its skull. Others are just the same as the goth vampires but instead were fake teeth and tail so lame cause its stupid when they do it

Like goths and vampires. Only a select few of people actually thought they were vampires and went through with it. Goths too I remember when they were weird, now there freaken cool and people act like they were like that there whole life and act like there life really does suck. yes shopping would be easier for a tail and heck maybe some gloves. But STUIPID people like the same kids that ruined everything dark, Gothic and vampire will ruin furies and there fandom if HotTopic has its way.

I like being me when its only me cause, i am the way i am not because its cool. The reason i like being what i am better when its not popular is because i never was popular and that means i have my own identity. If this ketches on people will automatically place me into that popular group, and i may or may not be popular. *has lots of frustrating reasons but its not necessary to talk about them, unless people want me to*

For thoughs who think it will open new doors for furs and to be able to get better excepted, or something like that. I agree.just like it help goths to get excepted, but some goths liked not being excepted because they already not excepted and liked it that way!
