To me, it's not really necessary, but it indicates your character talking.  That's what I get from it anyway.  I suppose it makes things simpler.

I actually have a number of different influences made all this come together.  :3

@Alexei:  Like I said, spelling and grammar doesn't count.  As long as it's legible and people can understand it.  This is far from english class.  It's all in good fun.

If you're using Firefox, I recommend you downloading a dictionary addon. I use it all the time and my English wouldn't be half as good without it!
