Simple question, what game genre do you prefer?
I like shooters myself but I'll play most genres.

I like teh first 7 but shooter is muh favorite of em all.  someday, there will be a game that combines them all

Shooter is where everything is at!  Although i must say, I like all genres to...  there are some genre crossers Buddy,  that combine RPG with RTS with shooter with simulation...  In fact, I want to make something like that.  I already had a good idea for how it would work.

◆ My favorite genre has to be RPG too, Shooter coming close second and Action/Adventure third. I do enjoy all kinds of games, though =3 Games with mixed genres are just the best! ^_^

I enjoy RPGs.  XD

Particularly JRPGs, like Final Fantasy....

I don't know, there's just something about them that I get so caught up in, especially since the story and graphics in JRPGs tend to be superior to other genre's, though this is not always true.

Second fave is action/adventure, like The Longest Journey and third fave is platformers like Mario Bros. I like to play shooters...but I fail at shooters. I die because my aim sucks in every shooter I've ever played...all fails. All me die.

Four way tie...shooter, RPG, RTS, and action/adventure. I ended up picking shooter. They need to make a good shooter/RPG/adventure hybrid. That would be so amazing. Only reason i picked shooter was MW 1 and 2. RPGs have alot of really good ones but not ones that stick out as much as MW IMO.

You missed out RTS... Though I guess real time strategy isnt all that much different from regular Strategy games   :/

Anyway, yeah. RTS games are my fave... Though for me it is hard to pinpoint ONE genre that I enjoy the most, sometimes I wanna play a RTS like Homeworld. Sometimes I dont have time for a long game so quick action game is fun :P
