So basically I'm being a jerk...and I need to fix it...

My mate just told me that I've been really selfish and I've been blaming things on her. When in my reality she hasn't been spending time with me and shes been being selfish. After she talked to me about it I realized...I've been a d****bag...

I told her I would take her on a date this weekend...i totally forgot...
I told her she wasn't hanging out with me...I wasn't hanging out with her...

She told me all this stuff and I just didn't have a defense...I have been the most selfish person, and ive been making excuses...I have no idea why I'm telling you guys...I just feel horrible...

Plan a full weekend for her, maybe she'll like that? A movie, dinner, a trip somewhere.. if she likes those things, that is. Or maybe just a whole day inside with a few good movies and some video games. You know what she likes.

If I were you, I'd go with what Pilose suggested. Plan out something nice and don't let yourself forget about it. Do whatever she wants to do.

Well being a full-time college student doesn't exactly pay well lol. Lucky she likes cheesy things like walks in the park and sitting in watching a movie  :D  Not so luckily I've never been good at planning the cheesy stuff. I'm gonna start with tonight and rent a chick flick and watch a movie together. I'll just find something new to do every day until the weekend. From there hopefully I can think of something good to do for the weekend.

I just had a nice little idea... if you're up to it?!

Write her a mail every day. You can write it in the evening and mail it the morning after before school or during lunch or something. That way she'll have a small bit of your love every day. The note could be a short short poem you found online or better yet, you wrote. Or just saying that she is the one thing that got you out of bed this morning. That you'd just love to hold her close right now or you miss the scent of her hair? Just a line or two.

You could also write it on post-it notes if you would be able to hang them up where she'd see them... or send her a text message every day. Whatever is easiest.

But as I said, it takes some discipline to do that.
