I dreamt I was travelling, I don't know where but I got the sense it was inland. I was staying at this guy's house (a connection made through friends), and at one point wanted to use his computer to check e-mail.
When I turned it on, the desktop was very ocean-paradise like but with cartoon characters, and on the side of the screen, about 14 fursuiters popped up and then dissapeared one at a time followed by a custom login sound. He was all embarassed, but I thought it was awesome, and we each figured out the other was furry. He was really into photo-manipulation, mostly creating fantasy landscapes out of real photos (like his tropical island getaway desktop). He was trying to work on character photomanips, creating furry characters by mixing fur textures and animal photos and people photos - he was starting to get it right on the limbs, mostly just a straight vertical fur texture with some shading/blending with the arm's existing shading and colors...but he was having trouble getting the complexities of the face to work. He was only using Photoshop, no morphing programs.
I gave him a few Photoshop pointers from what I know, despite not usually using Photoshop nor being much into photomanipulation. It seemed to help him though. For a minute he seemed resigned to the idea I was better than him not even trying, but I once again convinced him otherwise, that I just knew what I knew from random experimentation for art, but he was definitely better at photomanips.
Then I woke up and had to go to work.
