James, hiking, looked to Cyril and said, "If only we had a little more sleep..."

"That's 'Nam baby...the jungle tells when you when to sleep..." Cyril said as he carried his M-16 at ready stance.

Shiro, silent this whole time, was behind them, his ears perked for any noises. His guide motioned to him.
"Hold up boys... we are on patrol territory. See?" he points to the trampled ground.

Jade walked silently through the thick jungle, her team was killed by the enemy. she needed a new team, or in this case a group to get her else where. she stopped for a brief moment behind a tree, looking around she listened intently...nothing. setting down her m-16 and her small bag of necessitates she removed her cammie jacket, revealing a lighter, black under t- shirt drenched in sweat, she tightened her binds to make herself look flat, though her figure would give it away to a trained eye, she knew it would be risky to be on the front line as a female, her team leader knew, her comrades didn't, he just didn't care...poor fool. he had told her to make a run for it to call reinforcements but all contact was destroyed by a bomb. she tied her cammie jacket around her waist and fixing her cap, her helmet hung at her hip, the humid heat was comforting. she knew she was in patrol territory, but her trained stealth was an advantage. her M1911 out and ready, up ahead, she heard something else. hopefully it wasn't patrol

"Sorry to correct you Sgt. but patrols rarely go out in daylight due to active helicopter movement here..." Cyril said. He kept on walking, looking around.

Sebastian puts a hand on Cyril's shoulder. "Shh. You see that?" He points to a tree, from which a tail seemed to be protruding.

Cyril lifted his fist up, gesturing for all to stop and get down. "Pop a couple shots at the top branches..." He said to Sebastian.

Sebastian takes aim and shoots three branches.

Jade was startled by the noise, but the bullets were aimed for the tree's, she merely stepped out of the way, with a white cloth she waved it. she knew if she spoke up loudly, her female voice would be clearly heard. her gun was out, seeing someone in the bushes she signed to them *what the hell?*

"Get over here, marine." Cyril said as he stood up, showing his vest's S.O.G logo.

she recognized and stood up, walking with a fierce, silent stride, she was deeply annoyed, but she would not show it. she tried to hide her face without showing disrespect "yes sir?" she said in her most male voice.

max walked behind the group, keeping his distance so as to not be noticed. he had hoped that the other soldier was alright, he didn't know why the sarge had told him to run while himself and the others had stayed to fight. he could see the group up ahead then saw a sight that made him smile, the only other surviver.
