"First of all....why are you out here near VC territory?" Cyril asked as he continued to look around.

Jade stood up straighter " my squad was ambushed sir, we had no time to get ready, my squad leader told me to call for reinforcements but somehow they were able to disable that, I have no idea if any others besides me survived" one brilliant green eye peeked out from under her cap. "i have been on the run since, the VC patrol have not noticed me for days"

"Alright...well for now, you're with us...watch the back of the line." Cyril said as he wiped the sweat from his forehead.

Shiro sighed, his back fur going down from the sudden addition of another teammate.
"What i meant is that the VC like to put traps along here. Then they take them down when they are patrolling." he hefted his rifle onto his back.

"Men, we are at a crossroads, we have two choices. Left, back to base, or forward to the enemy base. All those in favor?"

"We're not attacking since I haven't gotten permission to call in air support..." Cyril said, peering out into a perfect campsite in the brush near them. "There...we'll rest there and I'm get confirmation on air support..."

Shiro smiled, and pulled out some paperwork.
"Here is the code for air support. A bombing run on the far side to draw their attention. Arc Light is doing a run in about three hours."

Jade was half relived but also was nervous, she walked quietly, looking around her new 'team'. though she was happy to have a shower soon, she was going to need it, she was also hungry, luckily the sounds of moving feet and equipment drowned out the sounds of her hungry stomach. hopefully she will have privacy to actually rebound her chest without getting caught.

James looked up, pulling something from a pack on his shirt. "The jungle takes a lot out of you. You must be hungry, Jade... Here." James threw a granola bar towards her.

Jade looked up, seeing that this guy knew her name she moved closer, hesitantly grabbed a granola bar and glanced at him "how did you know i was female" she said quietly, she knew the answer, but she wanted to hear it from him. "call me Dragon"

James looked up. "It ain't that hard if you look close J- Dragon..."

Jade winced... she sighed lowly "I guess... I have made it this far, which is impressive for a girl on the front line" she then looked up at him "how do you know my name when I have no freaking clue of who you are?"

Sebastian tries to suppress laughter. "It's on your tag." He said jokingly.

James tapped at his temple. "To tell the truth, sometimes I just... pick things up. It's a lot like a radio, signals can come in clear or fuzzy. I never could explain it. And don't worry, we won't discriminate, on the fighting or the work..."

Jade looked at her dog tag, it said Jaden, she merely looked away. hopefully they were closer to camp, she felt awkward.

"Alright....when I get clearance, I'll get them to bomb the right side and then get an evac..." Cyril said to Shiro, looking at the paper as he set his stuff down at the temporary zone.
