Kiral heard the lizard calling to someone and turned his head, seeing the chameleon and the lynx just idling around. He looked on the ground and picked up a pile of pebbles and dirt, throwing them at the two to see if they'd move. "Come on!" The sound of metal clanking started to be heard within earshot. That must be the patrol the old geezer was mentioning. Kiral then turned back west and ran harder this time, hoping to evade from the patrols and that the others wouldn't get caught either. Filadius had made it very clear that it was important for all seven of them to make it to the cave alive, but there was no way he'd be able to do anything against armed men. Because of his physique, it merely took him a few minutes to cover the mile distance, having put the blind girl over his shoulder to do so, and finally found the cave with the bears. However, there was a problem, How the (censored) do you pinch a gem? He held it out in front of himself and squeezed it as hard as he can, but the projection of the old man showed up after Kiral's hand completely closed around it. "I only see two of you and another couple behind you. Where are the other three?" Another couple minutes later, the others arrived, the sound of metal clanking still seeming to be within earshot after they caught up. "Good you're all here." The projection turned to the bears, who had been growling the whole time that Kiral and the others stood near the cave. With a wave of his hand, Filadius got the bears to move and bow their heads for the group. Kiral took the initiative and walked in first, after setting Mahi down. Sure enough, in the far back, was an old wooden door. Back at the entrance, the bears took their positions again. Distant growling could be heard throughout the cave, and metal clanking, which diverted away and faded into the distance. The wooden door then opened as the old man's projection disappeared. "It takes some magic to open the locks that I have placed, so it'll be just audio at this point." The old man cackled at hearing himself use the word "audio" in this time frame. Behind the door was a large cove which lit up magically with torches all along the walls. The room was large, just as large as the mansion except it was just one giant room. There were piles of books, scrolls and rusted, old weapons of all kinds laid around the room. However, what caught Kiral's attention was a lone piece of metal that shimmered directly to the left of him as he entered, a single bullet in the wall. How the hell is there a bullet here? At most, muskets are in this era, but not bullets. The old man's voice snapped him out of his trance, "Kiral, if you'd be so kind as to just kick the large pile of books at the end of the room. I will explain in full later. For now, I want to give you all your gifts." Kiral did as he was told and revealed seven chests. They were old and made of wood, but they glinted in the light, signifying they were sealed by magic. But the biggest surprise was finding his name on one of them. The old man's voice came back alive, "Each of these chests were here when my vision of the prophecy gave me the names of the true heroes of this world were. They will only open for you." As the group got closer, the chests flew open one by one, a glowing ball of light coming out of each one. The first one landed into Kiral's free hand and took form of a large, mechanical sword which seemed to be able to transform, while a holster formed on his hip. The shape of the holster didn't match the sword, and it was extremely long. "Kiral, your physical strength and amazing usage of a nail gun gives you Blaze. This sword is a combination of both blade and bullet. It has unlimited ammunition, but it only fires 9mm bullets, so it's not always a good idea to use it. Merely swing it in the opposite direction to close it and to holster it. There's a button over your thumb that will turn it from gun to blade." The next one landed into Mahi's hands, which then transformed into two gauntlets that had small diamond blades on the underside, while the top had full foot and a half single-sided blades. "Mahi, your precision/dexterity with jewelry and ability to see without sight grants you Viper. These gauntlets are indestructible, as are its blades. The diamonds on the bottom are connected to diamond wires, and can be used for mid to long ranged combat. Just make sure to hold them because the tips are merely a weight, you actually cut with the wires. They are magically extending and retracting, so be careful of your thoughts, because the tips are like the guidance system in a rocket. Its retraction/extension are based on your thoughts." He laughed at himself again for using modern terms. The next light fell into White's hands, which then transformed into a large warhammer and shield. "White, your skills as a carpenter award you with Axe and Snitch. That hammer weighs over 1,000 kilograms, but weighs nothing to you, and you only. Snitch is an impenetrable shield that can also be thrown and will return. Just like Captain America!" The old man cackled again. "Calm down, geezer before you kill yourself." The next light landed into Mortis' hand, transforming into a book and fountain pen. "Mortis, your skills as an artist are some of the most unique and interesting that have ever set foot on earth. Thus it gives you Boreas. This book is a summoning book. Any creature that you see on here, recreate it in the page next to it, and it will be summoned to help you. However, it will come out how you draw it, and messing up too bad will either result in a partial summon or not summon it at all. Oh, and when you do draw something to completion, be sure to point it at the opponent, and not yourself. After the summon dies or expires, the ink will remain burned into the page and disappear when that particular creature can be summoned again. Also, do your best in recreating it, since its strength is determined by how well it was drawn." The next light landed into Constance's hand, transforming into a dirk. "It may not like much of a weapon, Constance, but your love for animals has given you Lych. This dirk is the mark of a druid. This dirk endows you with the ability to magically summon the birds of the air and the animals of the land. However, you can only summon one animal at a time and only three animals a day, so be careful." The next one landed into Macid's hands, which transformed into a tome and a ring on his finger, which covered his whole index finger and extended like a nail at the end in the shape of a fountain pen, "Mac, your love for books and knowledge anoint you with Anan. By writing the full name of someone, you can read and see their thoughts in the book. The pen on your finger can find out someone's name for you, but it takes time for it to write it out for you. Point it at someone and ask their name, the pen will magically write it for you, but it is slow to writing. This book blesses you with knowledge that always puts you a step in front of your opponent." The final light landed into Max's hands, transforming into a giant cooking knife and giant holster around his body for it. Along the belt of it, were several assorted cooking knives that were regular sized, "Max, your abilities as a chef gives you Ramsey. This giant cooking knife is the sharpest blade in the world, able to cut even through metal. The additional knives are also as sharp. However, don't lose them, since they're non-replaceable, and it would be a shame to allow an enemy to posses such a weapon."
