[Shinzuu Katame: Her Tolfy]

Kiral grumbled a little to himself and sighed, "Yes, but it'll look weird and out of place for a blind nun to be able to walk on her own. At least, that's what would look weird in general. Last thing we need is to get noticed by a bounty hunter or someone who's greedy enough to go after us." He then looked her over a bit, remembering her figure when they first met, But then again, she wasn't too bad looking either. But on the other hand, she is a bit of a stickler.

"Fair enough." Mahi responded to Kiral, understanding the illusion he was making for any people who passed by. After that she noticed with her own "sight" that he was looking at her and basically just guessed that he was examining all of her, not just looking at her directly. "Is there something that I can help you with, Kiral?" She kept a calm tone because she wasn't sure if he was really checking her out or not so she didn't want to snap at him if it was nothing.

*White looked at Kiral because he seemed to be only looking in one direction for quite awhile* "For a bit I thought maybe I was in his center of focus, but it seems more likely to be Mahi. I know that look from anywhere in high school, though I don't really see that working out so well considering Mahi's reclusive sort of ways. It's still fun to watch them box on the sidelines though and I get to hold down a whole theater by myself with inner conversation and review as it progresses." *The wolf dragon looked off to the side to watch the trees pass by and the occasional rock*

Kiral smirked, but didn't let his attitude show it, "No, nothing at all. I'm just checking to see if you really are that convincing, but I just realized that I wouldn't know anyways." The rest of the afternoon was without incident, but the air was heavy as the sun started to set. There was something in the area, something big. Kiral's animal instincts warned him to be cautious, so he was more alert, not wanting to say something to alarm Mahi. He was pretty sure that White felt it, too, since he was half wolf.

Mahi might have believed Kiral if she hadn't "seen" his smirk before he spoke.  She let it go though since she didn't see the need to argue about the matter. She remained silent for the rest of the afternoon as they continued their journey. When she believed it was close to sunset, something felt off to her as she kept moving along with Kiral and White. She kept the rest of her senses on even more of a high alert than usual, not wanting to be caught off guard by anything that might attack them.

*White's fur stood up as the group kept walking along and started to get the feeling of being watched* "This is an alien sensation to me, because I've never really felt like I've had someone stalking me before, minus that time a day or so ago when those wolves and the thieves cornered us. I saw that coming, but this time it's different. I have no idea where or when, it's just I know something will make itself known eventually. Just not yet... I think." *The wolf dragon glanced to Kiral and Mahi occasionally to see if they were the least bit alerted as well, suspecting they all probably felt the same thing*

Kiral continued on with the others for another half an hour before he finally put his finger on it. He checked to the right, looking at a giant bush that he'd seen out of the corner of his eye a few times. He thought that it wouldn't be too odd to have bushes this large, but to have it look exactly the same, something was wrong. Kiral then put up a hand so that White and Mahi would stop, "Hold on. Something's not right with this bush." He took off his disguise and walked over to it, his weapon drawn. About a meter away, he pointed his weapon and fired. To Kiral's surprise, the bullet bounced off the leaves, and even more surprising, opened up to reveal the roaring, orange body of a Thermadon.

Mahi stopped when Kiral put up his hand to signal her and White to stop. She "watched" as he walked over to the supposed bush and fired a shot at it. She was surprised by what appeared next and actually backed up a step. "What the hell is that thing?!" She exclaimed even though she knew that Kiral and White wouldn't know what it was either, it was just an automatic question when she "saw" something she had never heard of before.

*The wolf dragon looked puzzled at Kiral telling them to stop suddenly and then seeing him pull out the gun towards the plant seemed beyond comprehension* "I have no idea what he's going to prove by shooting that plant..." *The bullet bounced off the leaves and ricocheted into the distance* "...oh. What the hell is that?!" *White stared at the creature that appeared from behind the leaves* "I don't get a good feeling about that thing at all." *He took off his hood and swung out the hammer to the front of him* "I wonder how resistant it is to something with a bit more punch."

Kiral jumped back, seeing the roaring beast, "Like hell I would know!" Kiral pointed his weapon at it, but it receded into its seed shell just before he pulled the trigger. All the bullets merely bounced off. "Okay... let's see how resistant they are to blades." He rushed the beast and put in a strong downswing, but the blade just stopped with a loud "Clank!" as it struck the beast's cover, though the blade did sink into it a little. The monster roared as it quickly opened the armor, tossing Kiral back several feet.

Mahi wasn't really surprised to see how resistant the beast was to Kiral's attacks when it was in its shell. She was surprised, however, by him being tossed back and she only just had enough time to sidestep so that he didn't collide with her. "Seems like White's weapon is the best chance we've got, but I don't think anything will work on...whatever this is." She said, not even attempting to attack the thing with what she had to work with.

"Well then I guess it's my turn, if I'm not successful we'll have to retreat." *White gripped his hammer hard and ran quickly, coming to the Thermadon it quickly closed up in its shield again and hid as the wolf dragon flew upward about 5 feet above the top of the shield* "I wonder how well protected your upper area is?" *He raised his hammer and completely let loose of his flapping, letting gravity bring the force of his weapon down; it swung hard and eventually reached the surface of the leafy barrier*

Kiral readjusted himself and landed on his stomach, Dammit. So much for looking cool and landing on my feet like in those movies. However, he didn't really care, since his main concern was the egg still strapped to his back. Through the impact of the hammer, the leaf armor bent inward, causing the monster to shriek. It quickly flung the shield open, revealing its body. It flipped White upward, but with the armor now folded all the way back to its rear, it was fast, and ran straight for Kiral and Mahi. Kiral quickly pulled up the weapon fired out of instinct and this time, the bullets didn't rebound, but rather, it sunk into the monster's flesh, causing it to trip and fall, skidding a couple feet. "Its body is vulnerable! Quick! We have to kill it!"

Mahi had almost completely forgotten about the dragon egg, but quickly looked back to see that Kiral had managed to land on his stomach which protected the egg from being harmed. When she looked forward, White had just hit the beast with his hammer and he was flung up into the air. When it ran toward her and Kiral, she waited until Kiral fired at it and it tripped and fell. Once it was on the ground she ran toward it and came at its head with both of her gauntlet blades out.

"Ughh... that went better than I had hoped, I was thinking for sure it would have trampled me after I attacked and was knocked down, but when it closed its shield it probably didn't see me fly up in the air until it decided to hit me and focused more on Kiral and Mahi, probably because he attacked the creature first." *White watched as Kiral fired twice at the now defenseless monster and tripped down to the dirt, becoming defenseless; Mahi took her opportunity and charged at the beast with her gauntlets drawn* "This is probably curtains for it, but just in case....errggghhh." *He pulled himself back up and raised his hammer again* "It felt like denting metal, at least it didn't rebound and throw me backwards instead, that would have been very bad." *The wolf dragon made his way in the direction of the enemy with caution*
