[Shinzuu Katame: Her Tolfy]

Kiral placed the egg down and followed after Mahi. He jumped up and ran the sword down, stabbing into the monster's jowls. The thermadon wouldn't even roar at this point, its jaw being clamped shut and against the ground with Kiral's sword. Its legs scratched at the ground as it tried to get up and kill its dinner that it had been stalking the entire day for.

When Mahi got to the beast, she stabbed the gauntlet blades into the top of its head. She yanked the blades out then moved away from the beast. She wanted to be well out of the way when White brought his hammer down on it. She picked up the dragon egg in its sling and Kiral's disguise and moved behind a tree, knowing that it would be best if she avoided getting blood and flesh on her or Kiral's disguises. "Hopefully that hammer will be all the hit we need to deliver to kill that thing."

*As White approached he watched Kiral and Mahi attack the monster from the front, then saw Mahi retreat with the egg that Kiral had laid down and his disguise, hiding behind a tree* "Well I guess she thinks this is probably going to get messy, I'm kind of hoping not since I'll be covered in the innards if it's that severe of a fatal blow. Though at this point I just want the damn thing to stay down." *He grunted and put everything he had into his blow when finally getting close enough, putting strength and accuracy together to hit the creature on the head*

Despite his efforts, White's accuracy was off, and hit the neck. But it still got the job done. The bones were turned to powder and everything within the hit area turned to goo, and built up in the head and the body from the force. The head popped off, lifting off the ground, and throwing Kiral back a few meters, due to the pressure build-up of the blood. "Well, now. That was different." He laid there for a few more seconds before getting up and rubbing his temples.

Mahi watched as White struck the blow on the beast's neck and then the head proceeded to pop off which threw Kiral back. Once Kiral was back on his feet, Mahi came out from behind the tree and walked over to him. "Here you go." She said as she handed him his disguise then directed her attention to White. "Nice hit, White." She then directed her eyes down at the egg she was cradling in her arms with the cloth still wrapped around it.

"Thanks... but it wasn't my intention to hit the neck. Anyways I think we at least need to write down some of the details of this creature." *The wolf dragon jumped down off the creature's neck and looked at the beast's head* "Perhaps we could get some questions answered about this thing if we also draw it." *White looked up at Mahi and the egg she was holding and then to Kiral* "Perhaps Mahi should hold onto the egg, she seems to be a lot more careful as it could have been hurt in that fight if you had fallen otherwise Kiral."

Kiral took his disguise back, "Thanks." He walked over to his sword that was still in the creature's mouth and pulled it out, swinging the blood off of it, and holstering it back underneath his disguise. "If she wants to carry it, she can. But don't think for a second that I'm not careful enough, either. I do work 3 times more difficult than yours and I've never had one near miss or minor hit."

"You're welcome." Mahi said after Kiral took his disguise and thanked her for it. She had the egg cradled in her left arm and was absentmindedly stroking the egg with her right hand when White suggested that she be the one to hold onto the egg. She had no objections to carrying the egg but she wondered what Kiral would have to say on the matter. It didn't really surprise her that he went out of his way to defend himself and she let him do so since she hadn't been worried about him with the egg except for when he had slung it over his shoulder so carelessly when they first received it.

*White was almost quick to comment quickly on Kiral's last statement, he looked at the wolf's gunblade and almost laughed, but stopped himself* "I certainly hope he wasn't talking about his aim with that gun mode on his weapon, otherwise we'd all be in trouble." *He looked back up to Kiral* "Of course." *The wolf dragon tried hard not to say anything else to him for fear of laughing again, he turned to Mahi to escape the ironic humor* "I'd feel better if you held it, besides you already look like you have its well being in mind already." *He turned away from commenting on her stroking of the egg* "Females always make the best caretakers."

Kiral led the party again and walked along the road. It was almost nightfall when they reached a small village, the large city now within sight, but another half a day's walk. Kiral was discreet on trying to act normal and just paid for some small lodgings, making sure to not show too much money, considering he assumed that the movies were correct on the church being poor. He was very wrong, but he wouldn't know until later. "Okay, let's make sure we get some sleep early tonight. I'll get us some food and we can turn in for the night." Being discreet again, Kiral bought miniscule meals that would be enough to tie them over for the night. He finished eating first, and sat by the door, leaving the bed between White and Mahi to fight over.

Mahi followed Kiral along silently even when they reached the small village. She also ate her small meal without saying a word while sitting Indian-style with the dragon egg laying on her legs. She kind of expected that the lone bed in the room would be given to her since she was a girl but she waited for White to finish eating instead of just taking over the bed without him getting any say in the matter whatsoever.

*After the wolf dragon finished his meal he wasn't particularly pleased with how much he had gotten to eat, especially for someone of his size, but he didn't say anything* "Seeing as how Kiral didn't take the only bed we have, Mahi can have it because I just don't care where I sleep. Though if there's a nice patch of grass outside, I'll take advantage of that no problem." *White got up without saying anything then looked down at Mahi and the egg again for a short moment* "I feel more comfortable with her just taking care of it even in times of quiet, no carelessness seems to be with her actions." *He moved out the door and laid on the nearest green outside then closed his eyes as he curled up and waited for sleep to come*

Just past high moon, Kiral stirred when he felt his legs moving from the door opening. He gripped his weapon tightly and quietly backed out of the way, staying against the wall. A dark figure holding a broadsword snuck in, closing the door behind it with its foot. Kiral let the figure take a couple more steps before jumping up to grab the figure's throat and stabbed him through the chest from behind. Or at least, that's what was going on in his mind. However, on his way up, he tripped on an uneven board he never noticed before and ended up tackling the figure, his face in the figure's ass. The first sound that came out after the loud thud was a female voice, "Pervert!" The figure was a female cat, to be more accurately, a first-time bounty hunter.

Mahi had heard the cat enter the room, but had kept her eyes shut and hadn't moved from where she was curled up around the dragon egg since she didn't want whoever had entered to know that she knew that they were there. When she heard someone trip, she knew it was Kiral since she had heard someone get up from where he had been sitting. After the intruder and Kiral had hit the floor and the intruder had called Kiral a pervert, Mahi opened her eyes and shook her head. "Yes, I'm sure he's a pervert because he tripped when attempting to kill you before you could kill us and just happened to run into your ass." She said as she got up off of the mattress, leaving the dragon egg on the mattress. "Trust me, he's not your type and vice versa." The blades quickly expanded out of her gauntlets while her arms were are her sides. It wasn't because she was being possessive of Kiral, she had no reason to be. It was because she wanted to be prepared in case the girl tried anything.

*Meanwhile the bounty hunter was foiled in her plot to collect on the heads of the group, the wolf dragon snored in the background, tossing and turning in his sleep, hearing sound coming from the resting area of his companions making him get up for a moment, rubbing his eyes and trying to focus on the blurred images in front of him* "What the hell?" *He looked up at Kiral and the bounty hunter, and then over at Mahi with her blades ready to fight* "I can't even sleep without someone trying to kill us now, this is just ridiculous." *He got off the grass and grabbed his hammer quickly, but tiredly trying to keep his grip straightened, still feeling weak from the previous endeavor*
