Except your answer was wrong. Also, there was no way to guess the Blind Beggar was the brother, becuase it could have either been the Brother or the Sister, but no way to tell which.

Okay... Now how about this:

You're playing tennis when the only ball goes down a hole. The hloe is deep and curved so you can't reach down it, it's too small for anyone to fit down, and the ground is made of hard clay, and thus cannot be dug into. What do you have that can get the ball out?
