The several hours of walking and venting in his head helped Macid calm down without outwardly showing it. The silence that surrounded them made him uneasy, causing him to look around every so often to try and see if they were bring watched, but never saw anyone or anything. When they made their way to the tall grass, he was hesitant to go in. Any animal or those behemoths could come charging at them, and they wouldn't know it until it was too late. The fear of being left alone was worse than being killed by surprise though, so he followed in after the others. When he heard the loud snoring, and saw the sign from Mortis, he hunkered down and tried to slow his breathing to remain calm. He didn't know what these behemoths looked like, but decided he didn't really want to know.
