Mortis eventually went from second guessing herself to all out worrying. What the hell am I doing? she thought, after hearing what the guard had said. Oh well, I'm this far into it, I better make it worth it. She closed her book and put it inside of her bag, stashing it beside the building, her heart practically leaping through her chest. She hoped that Max would get away seeing how she remembered that they weren't allowed to kill her... It would at least buy time for the others to come help, if they even realized that she was in trouble... IF Max did get away. There were so many what if scenarios running through her mind that she just completely shut down on coming up with a plan and ran through the side of the tent. Her action pulled the wall inward until the whole thing collapsed on top of the people inside, including Max. She laid there for a moment in the pile of cloth and camoflauged, slipping out of her pants again so that she would be completely invisible. God I hope these guards are dumb, please let them be dumb, she pleaded mentally as she began to squirm within the folds of the tent, looking for a way out or waiting for someone else to move.
