Constance heard the knock at the door but didn't move to answer it. She was still holding her folded legs to her chest as she sat there on the floor. Shortly though, she stood up and gathered her things before getting to the door. She seemed rather lifeless as she walked passed Mortis and out of the inn. She walked on North, knowing that's where they needed to go anyway.

Mortis didn't say anything as Constance walked past her. She looked to Septar, then back at Constance who was now leaving without so much as waiting for them. "Well, I guess we should go." She said, lacing her fingers. She felt a bit nervous, not exactly knowing how to break the news to the others about what all she had learned. She did know that right now wasn't the time and it was probably best to wait a bit before trying to talk about it.

Septar looked up at Mortis when she returned to the inn, and watched as Constance listlessly walked past her and out of the inn. She nodded at Mortis when she said they should go, but before leaving Septar walked to where Macid had been sleeping and grabbed the box that was there in his place. Meeting back up with Mortis and walking behind Constance, heading north she said, "I don't know if I should have brought this, but I had a feeling I should have. I don't even know what it is." Holding the box for Mortis to see she wondered if she knew what it was, other than a box, obviously.

Beyond the limits of the town, and in the forest, Moon landed in a clearing not too far from the treeline to wait for the party. Meanwhile, in the void outside of time, Filadius pondered hard about how to contact Kiral and Mahi, to let the know what had happened and what was the change in plans. He was very stressed and panicky now that the quest was no longer in his hands.

Constance walked on, not paying any mind to Mortis and Septar following behind her. Her face was still blank as she walked, she wasn't in the mood to talk. Somewhere in the depression and anger phase, she wasn't really sure what to do. She saw Moon up ahead when they got out of town, she couldn't bring herself to stop and just continued onward without saying anything.

Mortis plodded on silently. When Septar mentioned the box, she finally spoke, "I'm not sure. I guess it's good you didn't leave it in case..." She scratched her head, "Well, I dunno. In case he sends someone else I guess. At worst it's good you took it so we didn't leave anything behind for others to find." She shrugged at stopped by Moon, calling out to Constance. "Look, you can't just be like this... We still have something to do." It seemed the exact opposite of her normal attitude, but she was somewhat afraid that Constance's dirk might turn on her if she continued.

Septar nodded at Mortis as she told her that it was at least good she took it so no one would find anything they left behind. She could at least agree with that, but the box wasn't exactly the lightest thing to carry along for miles of walking. As the group approached Moon, Septar watched as Constance moved past Moon without so much as pausing to say hi to her, and when Mortis called out to Constance she felt she couldn't do anything but watch.

Moon almost whimpered when Constance just walked right past her, though it wouldn't sound like it to anyone since her new voice is so low and loud, but her facial expression and body kind of gave that away. She let out a little call and walked after Constance. In her adult state, Moon's legs had grown exponentially while her arms barely did, and were just as thin as before, so she couldn't exactly get on all fours and try to look cute for her, but her looks made it hard enough.

Constance heard Mortis' words and then Moon's reaction, which made her sad. Tears began to well up as her walking slowed to a stop. She raised her arm to cover her eyes. "Why did he have to go?!" she spoke. It was clear from her voice she was about to cry again. "I thought he was happy!" she continued. She began to weep into her arm as she stood there.

Mortis looked to Septar, unsure of what to do, but she followed Moon regardless attempting to get closer to Constance cautiously. "I don't know why he had to go... Even Filadius didn't see this coming..." She closed her eyes figuring now was probably the best time to get everything out in the open. She awkwardly put her arm around Constance, trying to comfort her, though she was sure that Constance wouldn't want her around if she was the last person on earth because of their previous skirmishes. "But we've gotta keep going. If we let this get us down... Well..." She sucked in a deep breath, preparing to say the words herself, "What happened to Macid can happen to us. Our weapons can turn on us. Not to mention if we don't try to do something Macid, Max... They will have all died in vain." She bit her tongue withholding the fact that White had also passed away.

Septar looked at Mortis, and shrugged, following Moon. She listened to Mortis talk to Constance and try to comfort her, as well as give her the drive to continue. When she heard that what happened to Macid could happen to any of them she felt her heart beating faster. "Wait, what? Our weapons can turn on us?" She didn't mean to avoid the very last part, but she wondered just exactly what that meant.

Constance felt an arm around her and turned her head to look and see that it was Mortis. She was doing her best to stifle her crying, wiping her eyes on her sleeve. When she mentioned their weapons turning on them she was confused. "What? What do you mean?" she asked. She looked behind Mortis to Septar then looked up at Moon.

"I'm not exactly sure myself..." She rubbed her head. "Filadius said that if we get too unwilling to go on with our journey, our weapons... They can turn on us and kill us. That's what happened to Macid." She looked down to the ground. "And... I know it's a lot to take in... But Filadius said that it also happened to White on Kiral's team."

There were two names mentioned by Mortis that Septar had never heard before, but figured they were from the 7, and the split team that Mortis and Macid had told her about when she first appeared after Max's death. Shoot, now that means that there's only 5 of us? she thought. "I don't know how we can fulfill the prophecy with just 5 of 7..." she crooned at Mortis and Constance. "Did Filadius mention that part?" she asked Mortis, wondering how much they talked about last they met.

"So he is dead..." Constance said sadly. She hung her head low at the news, even more so when she heard another one died. "So I'll never see him again...Even when this is all over..." she thought. "Then what's the point...?" she continued on in her head. Tears began to pour from her eyes again, though she didn't make any noise.
