Earth Angel

[serpington]

"that was cool...um..what did you do?" marco asked trying to not get hypnotised by eartha's beauty again.

"you could do to see sunlight on the holidays yes." max joked still smiling at finn. he noticed finn freaze up and his own smile disapeared. "you ok? you seem kind of tence all of a sudden."

"I drawed a little bit of this boys negative emotions he holds onto..it poisonous to the human body"

"I feel awesome!" Finn cheered, something he rarely did "wow, im hungry, lets eat!"

[serpington]

"ok, you sure your not on something? i havn't seen you this happy for a while." max got up and returned his book to it's usual spot under the book case before leading finn out of the library "there's a new cafe not far from here. we can go there and get something if we hurry. it's either that or the cafiteria...."

"so is that a standard angel thing, or are you the only one who can do it?" marco asked starting to act more casual around eartha.

Eartha laughed "I guess you can say that..." then she looked kindly at him "Im the only one who can do it because Im the only angel on earth

Finn jumped up excitedly while picking up his book he tripped...again

"the only one?....you must get lonely." marco thought about the last few centurys, how he had moved from populated place to populated place just so he wasn't acctualy alone, dispite how he felt. "so hat would you like to do?"

max caught finn with his tail, "you need to be more carefull." he stood his friend back up and lead the way to the cafe three blocks down the road. once there he grabbed two menus and walked over to an empty table under a small sign that read 'please order and pay at the counter' "cool, they have an all day breakfast menu. pick anything you want, my treat."

Finn order and sandwich and a soda. he ate hungrily  "mmmmm, this is awesome"

Eartha shrugged "my job here is to bring love, and compassion to this world" she smiled "I dont feel lonely"

"yea, i found this place about a week ago but this is my first time here." max sait between bites of his burger.

"love and compation? i didn't know angel's could feel those emotions. but i guess if a ghost can have a fever..." he stoped and looked down at the table deep in thought. "soo...as an angel...does that mean you know how i died?......"

Eartha shook her head "I don't know...Im sorry...angels are also incapable of feeling, romantic love, in order to do that, I myself must die" she said mysteriously, but her face was kind, gentle, compassionate of the purest kind. "since your dead, I might as well tell you who I am, not that you will tell anyone"

"i'm sorry to hear that. being a human in the past i still have feelings. mainly depresion at first but after a few suicide atempts i got the whole 'already dead' part."  he joked, looking up and seeing her face and instantly wishing he had a chance at being with her for the rest of his emortal life. he listened carefully and smiled reasuringly to eartha before responding. not that i would? more like not that i could. even if i wanted to talk to anyone still living they always run the other direction when i let them see me.

Finn. patting his thin stomach sighed happily "man...I love food, remember next time to buy lunch" Fin was humming a random tune "gosh...i just siddenly felt everything I hated was taken and whisked aw-" there she was...the angel and a man walking right by the window, his jaw dropped when he saw her face... what unearthly beauty!!

"what?" max asked turning around and seeing both eartha and marco walking past. he was dumbstruck just looking at the see threw fox let alone an angel. "please tell me your seeing this to." was all he could manage, in the way of making sure he wasn't loosing his mind.

"yeah..." Finn said, he looked at him, then abruptly got up from his seat. following her, he wanted to see where she was going..most of all, who is she "we can miss school for this"

Eartha smiled gently "I can see all spirit, I have some ghost friend, I am not lonely" she smiled at him "I consider you a friend"

max followed finn out of the cafe and after the two spirits. "school? i wouldn't miss this for anything!"

marco smiled, now blushing again, "you consider me your friend? i've never had any actual friends before...they all left me when i let my former popularity get to me." he heard someone behind them and turned to see max and finn coming out of the cafe and looking directly at him and eartha. "i think we've been seen."

Eartha smiled, standing behind him, grabbing under his arms, she whispered "lets fly" she took off, flying fats and gaining speed. she flew to the top of one of the high buildings and set Marco down. "there I think that's bett-" I scream interrupted her, as a fox  woman stood on the edge of the top, looking down.

Finn ran faster "she is getting away" below a crowd of people were scream and shouting, a news reporter was there, reporting of a soon to be suicide. "oh god"

the woman cried before she jumped "LIFE IS NOT WORTH LIVING" she jumped, Eartha falcon dived after her

Finn gasped "look, Max" they saw the angel gaining speed on the suicide victim.

the lady looked up and saw Eartha, her whole mind and heart changed, she reached out to Eartha, Eartha took her hand and as everyone watched, the lady stopped falling, instead she floated gently down. the lady could only stare back into those beautiful green eyes that showed her so much lover, as she touched the ground, Eartha gently let go. smiled and flew off, back to Marco, he angel disappeared from the sight of the lady, everyone ran to her, shocked, happy and bewildered at what just happened. the lady told everyone of the beautiful angel that saved her from her doom.  Finn could only stare up as the reportr said the last sentence.

"there may be a angel among us."

"nive catch. kinda makes me wish i could actualy do more than poses people" marco chuckled as eartha returned, he was standing, looking over the rail the woman had just been standing on, now only visible enough for eartha to notice. "and you didn't have to bother grabbing me, i'm a ghost remember, i can fly to." he said calmly turning aound to look at the angel. "so did you know she was there of not?"

max ran with finn, he watched the angle saving the woman and thought he saw her flying back to the roof shortly after. "come on, we need to get to the roof." he forced his way through the crowd and into the building, stoping to see if finn was still right behind him.
