Furry paradise inn

Jamie noticed her blush and quickly let go of her paw, coughing to disguise his own embarresment... "er... you been round the town much before? its a real nice place to live, lotsa winding streets and old houses...."

"I've only been between the inn and here... and between here and the river" she points off in the direction she had gone yesterday with Kitt and katka to give them the deed to their apartment.

Jamie nodded watching a pair of canines walking in the opposite direction, paw in paw... looking to Sasha he pointed in a different direction... "well we're going pretty much in the opposite direction... hopefully somewhere you havnt been before..."

"Umm, okay" she nods, following the feline's lead - hoping, and hoping hard, that he didn't have any expectations of this.

The pair walked through the now dusky, winding streets of the town, interspersed with old fashioned looking street lamps at corners of the buildings... when they reached the market square it was an old fashioned cobbled are, lit up by the warm lights around the edge of the open area... "yeah, this place is normally packed with people, but its nice to come here when its empty... its just so silent...."

Sasha leans back against the lamp post, flicking her tail as she admired their surroundings, "It's nice here..." she says in a hushed tone, not wanting to break the mood of the square.

A small pickup truck drove through the square, the cobbles bumping the vegetables and other local produce in the back as the driver waved to Jamie... Jamie waved back as the truck drove up the road theyd just walked along.... "yeah, its nice here... but you see that clock tower over there..." leant in to Sasha so she could easily see where he was pointing, to a large old fashioned clock tower.. "well, you can climb up it onto the viewing platform... you can see the whole town and the woods and fields from there..  you wanna go?"

The vixen nods excitedly, she'd love to see a view of the whole town. She swishes her tail happily, walking alongside the grey feline.

Jamie pushed open the large doorawy to the tower which was never locked... and the pair climbed the long flight of stairs to the observation area.... up there thw din picked up making Jamie shiver as he puched open the doorway... Walking over to the railing he leant on the sturdy wood, staring out across the town and surrounding countryside, the winding whipping through his hair...

Sasha shivered, wishing she'd brought something warmer to wear to the cafe - then realising that in her shopping trip yesterday, she had really bought anything particularly warm. She hugs her arms, rubbing along the red fur slightly to fend off the wind.

Jamie saw her shiver and pulled off his own Jacket, wrapping it around her.... "cold up here... but the view more than makes up for it.."

Sasha thanks him quietly, sighing; both at the warmth of the jacket and at her predicament, she was digging a hole here, and she didn't want to hurt Jamie - he seemed nice but... it just wasn't in her.

Jamie watched her sigh... leaning on the railing he made up his mind... "Sasha... just so you know... er, dont take this as a date or anything... i already have a girlfriend... she works down at the local shop.... i hope your okay with that?" He shuffled his paws in embrassement, hoping that she hadnt thought he was trying to go out with her...

Sasha's face immediately lights up, like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders. She puts a paw to her face, laughing quietly, "Phew..." she can't hide the relief, despite realizing that it might be a little rude to be so relieved not to be going on a date with someone.

Jamie smiled notcing her relief as the wind picked up again... "yeah, i just realised i may have been giving you a few..." he looked her in the eys. "okay, a lot, of mixed ideas about me... hope your okay with that..." once it started to rain, a thick horizontal drive of water they abandoned the tower and started to make their way back to the warmth of the cafe, shouting and running, splashing through puddles...
